Unfortunately the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable and this resulted in a lack of sleep for both myself and husband

The property was on a main road at the top of the hill in Whitby absolutely fine for us a nice walk into town . The property was spotless clean and there was off street parking which is a bonus for Whitby . They didn’t serve breakfast ( which we were aware ) loads of places to eat in Whitby

    Nothing at all!

The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and a great location. Yes, it's downhill to the centre so a bit of a steep walk back but it didn't bother us in the slightest. Donna and Jamie cater for everything from earplugs to a shaving plug and wine bottle stopper, just in case you don't finish that wine! Complimentary water, milk and orange juice in the fridge with pastries too, couldn't have asked for more :)

We were happy with our stay.

A kind and warm welcome. We were already informed that it was room with on - suite only. However there was tea and coffee and milk available. There was a small fridge with fresh milk, juice and water and 4 small pastries. An HD television. The room was a good size. It was all very clean and Comfortable. It was quiet and we felt well rested for our days out.

Beautiful newly decorated room. Nice touch of toiletries tea coffee and pastries. Very clean. Lovely couple who run it. Would definitely stay again.

This is a hotel that goes above and beyond. Anything you could possibly need is available in the room. Everything was perfectly clean and organised, and the room included a fridge and fully stocked tea and coffee station. The location is brilliant, only a 10 minute walk from the centre of whitby. And the hosts were incredibly polite and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.

Being somewhat disabled, I found it hard going up two flights of stairs to the attic space. Also it would be a bonus to be able to go in and out through the back door to the car park.

Very friendly hosts. Extremely helpful. Lovely room. Great location. Donna was so helpful carrying my things for me. They also lent me an umbrella when it was raining. Such lovely people.

Road noise might be a problem for some but ear plugs were provided in the drawer. Didn't bother us as we live near a busy road so used to it.

Very cosy room but also spacious. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and sleep. Fridge in the room with milk , water and juice provided. Kettle and range of teas etc. Pastries also. Don't get that with more "famous" companies! Thoughtful touches like corkscrew, wine stopper, toiletries and even cotton buds! Ten minutes walk down the hill into the centre of Whitby. Also the same by foot to the train station going downhill but on arrival suggest a taxi if you have luggage as it's a steep bank. Brilliant value for the price we paid for three nights. Donna was a very welcoming, friendly and helpful host.

    Nothing

This little gem is an absolute bargain a 15 minute walk from Whitby town centre with free parking. The little details in the room - there was a fridge, Danish pasties, hot chocolate, pint of milk, orange juice, decent toilet paper, air freshener, toiletries, cotton buds, a desk top fan, ear plugs and a couple of plates and glasses with a bottle opener - Donna has thought of everything. There is also a dvd player and films to borrow. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks Donna x

An iron and ironing board in the room would have made it perfect with respect to providing everything we needed without having to disturb the owners

Some great personal touches in the room, it had everything we needed and we were welcomed warmly on arrival. A fridge stocked with fresh milk, juice and water was a nice surprise given this was room only.

    Liked everything nothing to dislike.

Donna and Jamie were very welcoming. The whole place was immaculate. Attention to detail in the room was fantastic. Lovely little touches such as some bakery items left for us milk and water in the small fridge in the room. The room was spacious well equipped and very clean. The fact that it had parking too was also a big plus point. We will definitely be going back again the next time we are going to Whitby. If you’re thinking about booking here don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.

Bathrooms a little on the small side and some traffic noise, can be a tough walk up the hill from the town centre.

Cleanliness of room, comfortable bed, working TV, milk and tea making facilities, powerful shower and some nice touches with cotton buds, shower gel, coffee, tea, water, orange juice & hot chocolate.
