Everything was perfect..

Every little detail in that house has been tastefully taken care of, a five star hotel has NOTHING on Marion's B&B. The house is amazing, the breakfast was delicious and it was served in a little house that is straight up out of a movie. Really accommodating host and we loved that she let us play with the super cute family dog. Thank you Marion for an unforgettable B&B experience.

Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent location with plenty of good walks nearby. The breakfast was exceptional. Marion and her mother were very friendly and welcoming. This was our second stay here and we would definitely stay again.

Warmest welcome provided by the charming Marion. Breakfast was exceptional and served to our own specification. Cosy, warm room even in mid winter. We loved the big fluffy dressing gowns.

A little bit inconvenient that the shower is outside the room, but not really a big problem.

Big and cozy room in a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. Awesome breakfast served in a very nice garden house. Marion is very nice and helpful. Perfect position to visit Loch Lomond. The property is very quiet and peaceful. Really worth a stay!

Lovely quiet rural location with amazing views. Breakfast taken in the summer house, my full English was fantastic! Marion came to find me as my satnav took me to the wrong place which was very kind. The bath/shower is separate but toilet and sink ensuite. A good nights sleep and lovely people. The garden is also immaculate!

We found the property hard to find as the postcode and directions on Booking.com did not take us there. After asking a local, we arrived but we unsure it was the right place as it did not have the property name at the roadside (just B&B). The property name would have reassured us no end!

We were absolutely thrilled to find Balwill! Marion's hospitality was second to none. The most delicious breakfast in the summerhouse overlooking beautiful countryside really made our stay in Scotland!

There was nothing not to like!

The breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. The location is quite remote, hence the unspoilt views for miles. The gardens and summerhouse, where we had breakfast are amazing. Marion, the owner could not have been more welcoming. Would we stay there again? Without question. My wife loved it that much she didn't want to leave. We only booked for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Marion is a lovely friendly lady who runs a beautiful guesthouse in a rural location off the beaten track. The Rob Roy breakfast and her home made porridge are delicious, served up in her wonderful summerhouse overlooking Ben Lomond and the Trossachs. Her home and garden are beautiful.
