The property is absolutely beautiful set in gorgeous countryside and only a short drive from Scarborough. It is decorated to a high standard with a log burner for extra comfort. Also the owner made our dog her very own biscuit With her name on it! A lovely touch!!

Cannot fault anything with this place.

The host went above and beyond for our stay. It was my partner's birthday on this trip and after just a few text messages, the host had organised balloon decoration, a bottle of fizz and birthday card on arrival. We also enquired about a BBQ during the stay and this was sorted in under 5 minutes. Really attentive host, stunning place, gorgeous location.

The location is great, and we were the only ones there as it's the only cottage available to book. It was great to get away from the hussel and bussel of life as a little off track. There is a bar about a 15-minute walk, which is lovely called The Downe Arms. The accommodation is cosy, with a relaxing atmosphere and decorated lovely. It has everything you need: towels, kitchen utensils, and washing equipment. TV has Amazon Prime, Netflix, and access to free sky channels. The WiFi was great also. Contact from owners was good and detailed with location and how to access accommodation with some personal touches also.

The property was very comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in an excellent location for travelling around the North Yorkshire Moors and the coast. The cottage has a beautiful country view and is very quiet and relaxing.

No enclosed garden so if you have a dog they will need to go out on the lead when going out for a pee before bed.

Spacious, quiet, very comfortable. Parking, WiFi, lovely bed with electric blanket. There was everything you needed for a home away from home stay. Would definitely go back.

Wow what a find. The lovely and peaceful escape we were looking for. From the moment we booked Robyn was in touch and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful and thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation. We didn't actually need to take half the things we did. Would absolutely stay again. Loved the log burner which kept the place lovely and cosy. Full kitchen facilities. A wonderful peaceful stay. Lovely little villages within a short distance.

WOW! What an absolute beauty of a cottage. It was everything that we expected and more. The peace and tranquility of the location is amazing, fields and pheasants for miles. We certainly had a break from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. The cottage is spotless, we could not find a fault with anything. The host, Robyn is so helpful and friendly and the little touches made it extra special - so thank you. We can not wait to come back and explore more of the local area. (Once our feet have recovered). Thank you, thank you, thank you!
