George is a great host and his attention to detail is 100%. Wine & Beer were offered upon our arrival along with Tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. Because it was a Friday night George kindly recommended a place to eat and booked it all for us. Such a kind jesture, thank you once again. Upon our return there were chocolates on our bed, but the following morning we experienced the best cooked breakfast we have ever had! Prior to tucking in, there were fresh strawbs, blueberries, grapes, nuts, cereals, yoghurts, milk along with a selection of various juices plus a choice of teas, coffee, toast and jam. The room was very clean, tidy, quiet, and well equipped. It made it a really enjoyable 3 day break. Thank you a million times George and we would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit.

Having to go home

We could not have been looked after any  better by George in his lovely home. With wine & beer in our room upon arrival with tea, coffee & chocolates too. Each time we went out it was restocked. Beautiful room, a lovely comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast is amazing with so much choice & cooked beautifully. The fruit is so fresh with fresh flowers on the table. George is lovely and really makes you feel welcome in his home. Thank you for such a great weekend, we will be booking again.

The only downside to the property is having to leave your room for the bathroom. However, dressing gowns and slippers were provided, it was only a couple of steps away and it was for our own private use. This wouldn’t stop us from staying again if we were visiting Chester.

Booked very last minute trip and it surpassed our expectations. From parking up the car to leaving the following day George helped enormously. Couldn’t have asked for a more central location. Exceptional value for money. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and very enjoyable. It was good to talk to George and hear that he believes in treating his guests as he himself likes to be treated when he is away and as such the personal touches put the stay on another level.

There is nothing that we didn’t Like

What can I say :) George was a fantastic host. On arrival we’re beers and wine waiting for us in our room, What a thoughtful gesture but that didn’t stop there. The room had everything we needed and much much more. The breakfast was exceptional from Cereals, Fruit and Yogurt to a full cooked English breakfast which set us up for the day, we came back our days out to fresh supplies of milk and even a chocolate bars awaiting for us, fresh towels every day Nothing was to much trouble.

Everything was perfect for our stay in Chester. Close to everything. George could not have been more helpful, had everything you could ever need. Breakfast was excellent and kept you full for rest of day. Looking forward to visiting again.

great location short walk to town center - George the owner is a fantastic host very friendly and helpful - the room and bathroom were spotless the bed was probably the best i have ever slept in - then the breakfast blew us away just about everything you could ask for superb - but overall it was the level of detail he had thought of everything to make staying there a pleasure in future if anyone mentions going to Chester i will say park view best b&b ever

Couldn't fault anything.

Excellent all round. Lovely, chatty host, all very clean, extra finishing touches, over and above the norm. From robes and slippers, welcome drink in our room, chocolate on the pillow and an abundance of toiletries etc in the bathroom. Fantastic breakfast too, plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend and would return without hesitation. Oh and free parking too, hard to find in Chester!
