Personally I didn't like the colour of the room, didn't know that the hotel downstairs turned into a nightclub!😂 City life didn't stop until 6am so if you're looking for a quiet hotel this isn't for you or bring ear defenders :) No mirror Infront of a table it was to the side making it difficult to get ready sitting down. No AC or didn't work ? No fans

The building was beautiful! Big room not enough usb sockets in room we were in could do with usb sockets by bed especially with modern technology. Staff were amazing and very welcoming and helpful.

Had trouble with our room cards as they were disconnected during our stay but otherwise everything else was fine

Shower pressure

The bathroom was quite small and the decor in the room a little dated but that's being very critical.

We arrived early so we could spend the day shopping we knew we wouldn't be able to get our room till 3pm which is quite late for a check in but we thought we could leave bags at hotel but we were told there was no room facility leave them in i was with a lady with a disability so vouldnt be carrying 3 cases around liverpool all day but yhen the man at reception said we could take them to a souvenier shop not far away and pay to leave them there which we did cost £2 and they were really nice there We were not greated very friendly by the lady because we were early she was much nicer when we left tho 😂 Room was abit noisy at night but we were told about this before we were so tired we managed to sleep anyway windows are only single pain old ones so let the noise in but wasn't too bad so if you eant quieter room ask to be in back of hotel If you go to bar or restaurant be prepared to wait a long time we didn't get our dinner as we waited over an hour and no food came inasked a young girl who mever came back to our table to let us kno how long and we only ordered bar sandwiches in the end I had to tell them we had to leave or we would be late to see a show we were going to that night and they were OK about this we think they forgot about us Then in morning we went for breakfast at 9am and waited till after 10am for our food super slow service it really wasn't that busy either food was nice though so just make sure you leave enough time

The room was lovely decorated, comfy beds and very clean room and bathroom Hotel is great location near to train station and city centre The bar and restaurant are lovely too We really did enjoy our stay here despite some hiccups

The only couple of faults I could pick was on our 2 night stay we had no housekeeping in the room, plus the mattress was abit too soft for me but it really wasn't a big deal.

Perfect location, friendly staff, clean hotel and value for money. Great breakfast in the morning.

- Noise from the street (windows are single glazed), we could hear the music from the club opposite the hotel.

- Nice building with a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. - Location very central.

Really nothing to complain about....

Got a good deal on this hotel and wasn't expecting much.....our room was a little small but was modern and clean,with a nice shower..we didn't really use the bar area but it too was modern looking.....literally 2 minutes walk from Matthews Street .....I would definitely stay again

No places to hang towels, no toilet brush. No ironing board but there was an iron! No spare blanket (if we'd been cold).

Didn't get much sleep due to noise from outside. Was unable to obtain a drink (at just after 11pm) from the bar, even to take back to the room.

Lift not working so a bit of exercise needed to get to the 3rd floor.

Was noisy through vents on windows and window kept banging and you couldn’t take your own food or drink in your room
