The property is in a great location within walking distance to Kings Cross station and near the University College London. Bus stops are just two minutes away. Room was clean, beds comfortable and the staff was kind and made you feel safe when traveling.

Nothing much. The hotel would benefit a restoration, but everything is functional, so it is a great offer for someone looking for a budget friendly accomodation, especially solo travelers and those with short stay.

Everything was exactly as described. I got clean sheets and towels every day, plus water, coffee and biscuits. The TV was also in the room with lots of channels to choose from. I was placed in a room looking outside on the street which is quite noisy, but if you close the window during night, you won't hear it. Great location close to King's Cross Underground station and British Museum. Overall, very plesant and enjoyable stay.

The small rooms. Older fixings. Narrow, poker hallways.

Close to city and shops. The room was small as it was a single room and older fixings but it all worked. The fire doors are always cumbersome but necessary I assume.

We had a small issue with the curtains as they were half hanging off due to the rings getting caught on the pole. These were new fittings and we let reception know as we checked out. They were very grateful for the feedback and they assured us this will be sorted.

The hotel was close to Kings Cross station and they stored our bags after we had checked out for no extra charge. Although it is an old building our room had been recently refurbished and it was comfortable for a stopover in London.

Bathrooms could use a little more storage space for toiletries and some hooks for towels etc. Stairs were awkward but staff helped us with bags.

Good location neat St Pancras/Kong Cross station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The single room was small but clean and cleaned towels, bottled water, tea coffee, and biscuits every day.

Cups in the room could have been bigger for two and coffee!! No parking, however easy and safe parking at Matilda Street very close by.

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The little garden in the back was like a little oasis. Location was brilliant for us.

Perfect for one night before catching train early. 15 minute walk to St Psncreas. Could leave bags before checkin. Friendly staff. Clean room. Garden for reading and relaxing. Good restaurants nearby

All to be honest! The staff were really friendly, my room was small but just enough for me, the bed was comfy, had no issues getting in and out and all of this was in a great location for a good price. Also, this hotel has a garden, which is a bonus for London.

Things that are unavoidable when staying in a city like loud cars roaring at night. But I'm from NYC and used to that! I wish I would've asked for more pillows too, but that's on me. But other than that it was fantastic!

The staff was friendly and available 24 hours! The room was very clean and the space felt very safe. We received fresh towels daily and had coffee and tea in our rooms!

We had the windows to the street and some of the passing cars were quite loud in the night. Nevertheless the windows were doubled. If you don’t mind to sleep with closed window there is no problem.

It's an old building without good double glazing so I could hear the road traffic noise. however with good ear plugs this wasn't a problem. Hair dryer was at reception and would have been better in my room.

The swinton had everything I needed for a short stay in London. The room was basic but had a hot shower, shampoo etc, tea/coffee/water and biscuits Everything was clean.
