No heating in the main room which was needed in the evening.

We booked the weekend away last minute so on arrival at 8pm, was nowhere to park. After driving around, we parked at the train station which was a 10 minute walk. The heating is controlled by the owner online, so wasn't able to turn up the heating in the living area, it's a large open plan space so was cold. Watched tv with our coats on, however, bedrooms & bathroom were adequately warm enough. Throws & cushions on sofa could do with replacing, looked tired. Shower cubicle leaks quite a lot. Had to mop up after each shower.

Location was perfect, shops only 2 minute walk, seafront 20 minutes. The bedrooms & bathroom were very well presented & clean.

Nothing I didn't like

The apartment was fantastic, had everything you need, was very clean and modern, was comfortable and cosy and is situated In the middle of town so it was easy to get to places like the beach 🏖 in town etc.

Key holder box is a nightmare to open ,got drenched trying to get in it ,needs replacing and relocating to a dry sensible spot

Great location ,weather was crap, so luckily the appt was well equipped and big enough to spend longer than anticipated in, parking was great ,plenty of tvs etc ,and comfiest bed I've ever slept in

I think better attention to cleaning could have been made there were what looked like fake tan finger prints on the bedroom door & splashes of something on the bathroom door. No hand-wash in the bathroom & very small amount of loo roll, these didn’t really affect our stay but the latter two would have prevented me having to go out for some.

Lovely property that is tastefully decorated & spacious enough for the four of us & two dogs.It is in a good location for town & short walk down to the sea front.

Only negative I could think of are the steps, think a small handrail would be gd for those not great on steps.

Check out time is 10am. We did ask if we could extend the time till 11 am, but the letting agency would not allow this.

We had a lovely 2 night stay with 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog in Feb school hols. Location is a 10 min walk from the promenade, and not far (5 mins) from the centre where there is a shopping centre, greggs, takeaways, tesco and other such amenities. The apartment was lovely and clean. More than comfortable for 4 people, with kitchen facilities, TV and WiFi. Parking was available directly outside, having requested parking permits from the host, and there was a large green/grassy area out front where we exercised our dog on a morning and evening. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anymore from the apartment. It was modern, warm and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely return on our next stay in Scarborough.

The only fault we found, was that the sitting area seemed to be quite chilly, but we are woman of a certain age! But as soon as I text it was raised. Bedroom's and rest of house was toasty.

The place was immaculate and so pretty.

Sofa at wrong angle to watch TV, crick in neck. 'Stuff' to look pretty on floor and surfaces could easily be knocked over by children or pets, I gathered them all and put safely out of the way.. Found leaving (and leaving place clean and tidy) by 10am stressful. But these are minor points, I'd happily recommend 39A to others and believe me, I'm fussy!

The apartment is literally 2 minutes from the main shopping street in the old part of the town. It was bigger than expected, spacious, bright, clean. 2 double bedrooms with 6ft wonderful beds. Kitchen/dining/sitting area. Excellent large walk in shower. Basement but that doesn't mean dark. Little enclosed area at rear. Quiet location with an encoded park directly opposite (check all gates are shut before letting your dog off lead). Parking outside using £5 a day permit paid for as extra. Worth noting you still park next day until 1.30 so if you go out early and return late you don't need to pay that day. Well stocked apartment, lovely 6ft comfie beds with beautiful white linen. Slept really well. Heating worked well. Washing machine and dishwasher. All well stocked. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar etc. We had our dog with us, floors without carpet were great for her, we could relax if she spilled her water or food bowls. £10 extra for her stay. She doesn't shed so doesn't cause extra cleaning. There was plenty of room for her cage in the sitting area. We were all happy here

Absolutely nothing - the only slight tweak I’d make is more than one dishwasher tablet but that is really minor.

Very clean - all mod cons in the kitchen and perfect location. Great big shower and nice sized beds and bedrooms.

the space in the apartment was bigger than expected. very clean and tidy, the location of the apartment is very convenient for the dog with a fenced field right outside parking right outside the door
