How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I think the main issue was the internet connection. It was very poor. Perhaps because there were too many people using it at the same time. I wish the room had had a slightly bigger kitchenette.
The building is very pretty. The room was rather small, but you have all that you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. It is in a very convenient area, and very close to the beach. I had a good time in Naxos, but I found the island a bit too busy. Perhaps it is better to visit Naxos when it is not peak season.

The bathroom was small with a tacky shower curtain. Would appreciate all supplies including tea, coffee, sugar and milk; and body wash, shampoo and conditioner (think it had one or two of these things but can’t quite remember).
Staff were lovely! Location was perfect! (Couple hundred meters to Agios prokopios beach, many restaurants and shops and the bus stop!) Would stay here again.

This hotel provided an amazing experience, we did not want to leave . The rooms were Super clean, cozy with great air conditioning. Nothing beat the location which was so close to an amazing beach , awesome restaurants and the bus for access to the port town which was a 15 min drive. The hosts were so gracious and kind and always willing to help with any needs we had . Would definitely come again !

Everything was excellent! Less than 3 minute walk to nearest beach, 2 minutes to shops, 2 minutes to bus stop, 10-12 minutes to Agia Anna beach. Elisso is warm and welcoming, very helpful. The apartment was super clean, cleaned once a day and has all the necessary kitchen equipment to make easy quick meals. We loved staying at Elisso's, we will definitely be back !!

Shower curtain could do with replacing but that was all I have to fault.
Amazing location, can walk everywhere in prokopios within a couple minutes. The staff were very accommodating. Great value for money.

Very accommodating family business! I informed them that I was arriving near 1am, and someone was at the reception waiting for me to hand me the keys and give me a run down of my room. It was all prepped, cleaned and ready - super service! The lady was so sweet and welcoming. I would stay there again!

Very nice place. Very friendly and helpfull landlady. Clean and neat apartements only two minutes walk away from the gorgeous beach. Easy to find from/ very close to the busstop in Agios Prokopios

Although the world is going to a pandemic there is no soap of any kind in the bathroom, which was quite an unpleasant surprise. There is no daily cleaning, on the pretext of the same pandemic, and it's not nice not to have your trash picked up daily in the middle of summer. The general feeling is that there are all kinds of rules to be observed (wash you feet before going into the room, don't stain the towels with sun protection lotion or else you'll have to pay for them), which can be stressful at times.
Very convenient location close to Agios Prokopios beach, to shops, restaurants, bakeries. We were allowed to check in the room earlier than the official check in time. My daughter received a magnet as a souvenir at the end of our stay. The two landladies were helpful with some extra info on what to do around the island.

Quiet place, very close to the bus station and the beach (about 3 min. Walking). Blue furniture of the room were so cute. Staff was very friendly :)

Dina and her mum were really kind and always ready to help. The property is well equipped, clean and located very conveniently close to the Agios Prokopios beach with many shops and restaurants nearby.
