Beautiful house with very lovely details, high class quality and traditionally designed. Like a small castle, fully eqipped with everything you need. Best bed we ever slept in. All the beautiful beaches of Xerokampos are close, as of course the taverns. We felt so very welcome by the nicest host Eleni. Some day we will visit you again , thank you so much ! Keep it up !

The host was very warm and welcoming and helpful in all ways. The house where I stayed was perfectly renovated clean and spacious. Also I liked the small town and the surrounding of Xerokampos.

The surrounding are not very special.

New house very well done in a traditional style. There are a few houses next to each other, but it was not noisy or anything. We had each a good privacy. Each house is on 2 floors with the bedroom upstairs.

A perfect location to relax in Crete. Ideal for the guests who want to get a bit in touch with traditional Greece. The beaches are ideal for children. The host is very kind and helpful.

We loved the warm, friendly Greek welcome from Eleni. A true gem of a lady. I have been travelling to Crete twice a year for 10 years and explored all over the island. This is one of the most exceptional accommodations I have stayed in. The house, the attention to detail truly shows. You can tell that Eleni and her husband have put their heart and soul into creating these finely crafted traditional homes. This stay was towards the end of our travels and we are only sorry we didn’t book here for the whole 2 weeks.. we won’t make that same mistake again ;) if you want to get away from tourists, explore the very best beaches Crete has to offer, experience a little bit of heaven on earth and a warm traditional & tranquil Greek stay then you must visit xerokampos and Lithos houses :) can’t wait for next year ❤️

Absolutely beautiful place. Attention to detail in the houses is impressive. Fully stocked fridge, spotlessly clean and perfect location for a calming break. Eleni works tirelessly to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and could not have made us feel more welcome. We will be back next year!

The time I spent there, just 1 night: too short

This is an outstanding property. The building is designed to resemble ancient Minoan dwellings but every detail is meticulously cared for, materials and colors are carefully selected and the result is stunning: you live in a 4-thousand-years old house with a very nice and pleasant decor and all the modern comforts (such as private - and free - parking, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee machine...). Manager very nice and enthusiastically welcoming. Abundant supplies of food for breakfast. I wish to go back there and spend more time in the (near, hopefully) future.

We had a perfect stay at Lithos Traditional Guest Houses! The house (made with high quality materials) was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with an eye for charming details. The place is situated in the natural splendour of Xerocampos and really close to superb beaches, traditional tavernas and a couple of minimarkets. Our host Eleni was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She made us feel at home <3

Beautiful location, quiet, convenient. The residences are designed with love and attention to detail. From the decor to the electrical installations, you will find thoughtfulness behind all things. The kitchen is well-equipped and you will arrive to a stocked fridge so you do not have to stress about much until you find your bearings around town. There are two mini markets nearby and more stores 20 minutes away at Zakros. We stayed for two weeks and the place had everything we could use in terms of amenities. The owners are incredibly hospitable and discreet, ready to take care of you or leave you alone. Little treats will await you at times. The owners also have a boat and could plan a trip to the nearby island if the weather permits. The location is a good balance for privacy but not total isolation from civilization. There are no bars or clubs in the area thankfully so there is no noise besides the cicadas ans the birds :) There are numerous beaches walking distance and driving distance. You can go to a different one every day and not get bored. Even when windy, you can usually find a nook to swim in that is calm. There are many good places to snack and eat in the area or at the nearby villages. The location is great for excursions to several places 30 to 60 minutes away. Overall, you will not find much better for the value. Whether you come for three days or three months, it will be a hard place to leave. We look forward to returning!

After going to Lithos for two years in a row, we would like to thank Eleni for her hospitality, kindness and her positivity, as well as her warm welcome. Eleni is much more than a host, she is a person full of happiness, kindness and respect. We highly recommend this very typical apartment, filled with charm and calm. It is 10-15 minutes from the beaches on foot and 5 minutes from the restaurants. Plus some restaurants deliver directly to the apartment what is convenient! The atmosphere in the traditional stone house is great. I feel very secure, like at home. The house is designed with great attention to detail, there is a niche in the wall, there is a small table and it is very, very tastefully built. Not only is the house built in a traditional style, the furniture is chosen accordingly and fits perfectly. Very, very neat and very clean.

It is a little distance from the sea side, about 700/800 metres but that I would say is worth it for the quality of the accommodation. Other places nearer to the beach just don't look as nice.

Elena the owner is incredibly welcoming and proud of her fantastic guest house. Everything has been taken care of and the design inside has clearly been very thought out. Each room has the best espresso machine which I highly recommend in the morning with a sunrise over the sea.

If you look for a really quiet place, you shouldn't expect a big supermarket around. There's a minimarket with fresh bread and all the badic things, but you should think if you need anything special beforehand. We were happy to have the last pack of cornflakes our kids like from the shop, still.

Fantastic place. Kids called our maisonette 'a magic castle'. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior. Even more, it is comfortable down to every smallest detail, including super comfortable beds and Illy coffee machine for your best morning espresso with a seaview. Eleni and Konstantinos were 120% hospitable, made us feel at friends' home, gave us many good advice. We loved the location, with a seaview and short walk to a perfect beach. Quiet as you can imagine in October. Once again, the traditional look + modern comfort design is just fantastic.
