We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyExtra charges — 40€ per night for a small dog, 35€ for the parking. The staff did tell us in advance. It it felt a little cheesy given the price of the room as such.
Staff goes the extra distance to make sure the guest is happy — desk and breakfast room both. Super location, tasteful and functional room. Great WiFi and a lounge to work or hang out in.

CroatiaThe hotel is superbly located in the centre of Old City of Split, with easy access to all Split has to offer. Loved the décor and especially the lounge on the 1st floor. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and have everything you would expect from a high end hotel. Excellent table service breakfast with choice. Very well prepared and tasty. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive (thank you!).

EstoniaA few minor cons: I couldn't get what it was, but my room was smelling something like curry. Fortunately it wasn't a very strong smell, so I could tolerate it. The glass separator of the tube in the bathroom was too small.
It was one of the 4-star hotels with a convenient price/quality ratio for the days I stayed in Split. The location of the hotel was good: even though it's on a narrow street, it's in the middle of the Old Town and most of the landmarks of the city are within walking distance. It's easy to reach the hotel by walking from the bus station as well. The receptionist's communication with me was okay. The breakfast service was good enough. The wireless Internet connection was satisfactory. My room was huge. The bathroom was full of high-quality amenities. There was a kettle tray set in the room. The minibar was full of delicious snacks and beverages, and they were not so expensive. My bed was so comfortable. The A/C was working perfectly.

United KingdomThere was an issue with a plumbing noise which they tried to rectify but to no avail. It was an intermittent sound that disturbed my sleep on both nights but was hard to pinpoint as it only went off periodically. The staff did their best to fix the problem. The local church bells are rung around 6am daily which is a pain.
The staff were lovely and very helpful and went out of their way to find us a good restaurant and attend to any issues

United StatesWe arrived one hour after the allowed check in time and there was one couple checking in ahead of us. We were asked to wait in the bar and the receptionist did not retrieve us for 50 minutes. It seemed it was an effort to make guests spend money at the bar, as my husband checked once during that time and she was not assisting anyone else and two other couples had been directed to the bar as well to wait.
The staff was very responsive to questions regarding services and restaurants prior to arrival. The location of the property was perfect for exploring Split, the restaurant staff was very polite and hard working. The breakfast included was very nice and we appreciated the coffee pods free of charge in the room.
