Unfortunately, there are no noise-cancellation in the building, you can hear the live-music while in your room

Rooms were comfortable, they accommodated our needs, moving us to a different room when requested. The restaurant and specially the food was delicious!

The stay was okay. There was a very noisy pub a few doors down -- but nothing the property could have managed anyway. It was quite hard to find as the street was SO BUSY when we arrived -- again -- nothing the property could have managed. Liked the location and price. The two reception people were VERY nice/pleasant :)

Personally I didn't find the bed very comfortable , but that's down to personal preference. There are works going on outside bedroom window so firstly it made the room very dark, and also I think it makes the fire escape window pretty useless.

Excellent location. Though I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable walking back on my own or later at night. Staff were excellent. Room and hotel overall was kept clean

There were 8 flights of stairs to get to 3 rd floor. This would be extremely difficult with a lot of luggage or for anyone slightly out of shape!

Staff was friendly. Location was good if you like the middle of City Center and lots of noise all night long.

TV kept malfunctioning. The small window in the room, not accesible. Music playing at the business downstairs can be heard until late hours of the night, specially on the weekend. (We had a first floor room).

Love the location, accessible to everything. Day time receptionist gave us great customer service.

    No elevator, tiny shower.

Our room and bathroom was very small but adequate for 2. We only ate once in the breakfast room and it was okay. The staff was fantastic, we needed a little extra help they came through for us. The best feature of the Celtic Lodge was its location. It was easy walking distance to tour bus pickup locations plus entertainment along O'Connell Not that far from Trinity College.

The breakfast was mediocre, but adequate - rather dried up overcooked bacon and sausage and a selection of fruit would have added to the meal. The room however was very small for two people and rather dark

Staff, location and cleanliness were excellent (exceptional even). The breakfast staff were very attentive and chatty which we enjoyed. Front desk staff could have not been better guides to the city. The room was very quiet despite being in a busy part of the city.

I stayed at an individual room and it was a bit small.

The property is in an excellent location near bars, restaurants, coffee shops and easy access to tourist attractions. Finding public transportation is easy from this location and very accessible. I loved the staff, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The Irish Breakfast was the best!

Some more storage would be appreciated. The bathroom is too small, the tap of the sink is too "vintage" ;) The music from the pub below is very loud. Though not so bothering. Fortunately, it occurs only on week-end evenings.

The guesthouse is very well located, a few steps away from the Liffey River, Trinity College and Temple Bar street. Many shops, coffee shops and restaurants just down the street. The main touristic sites are within foot reach. The room is clean, beds comfortable. The staff is so kind and helpful and efficient ! We ate breakfast twice at the Celtic lodge. It is a wonderful full Irish breakfast, served by lovely ladies. We had a great time there. The pub also serves good food, with good music, in an authentic Irish atmosphere.

Rooms are a little run down, bathroom was grubby with a piece of metal sticking out of the wall, which could be dangerous. Bed / pillow uncomfortable.

Great location with very helpful staff who gave brilliant recommendations. Cheap price for centre of Dublin. Perfect as a base, to get your head down and refresh before heading out in Dublin.

Safe box not working, phone not working. I was there for a weekend so we could not fix the safe. Looked thought that they just know and not care to fix them.

Loved the pubs right below, amazing food, amazing live music and lovely, cozy place to hang out. People are friendly and helpful in the reception and the pub and restaurant
