I have been to various places and stayed at various hotel chains abroad and I d say that for surety that their breakfast is the best breakfast I ever had. The food I tried once was amazing , kudos to the chef and all the hard working staff. Very helpful and friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony over the river Slaney was gorgeous and the food in both the Dry Dock bar and Reeds restaurant was excellent. There were Egrets, Herons, Whimbrels, Chiffchaffs, Robins, Wood Pigeons, Corvids, Tits and Martins on the water, in the air and on the grounds of the hotel. It was a gorgeous location really peaceful.

Fabulous hotel with professional, friendly, helpful staff. Great food prawn wontons, chowder and scampi, bacon cutlet and chicken supreme all superb. Great atmosphere in hotel bar/restaurant down to super staff. Thanks in particular to Richard who let us stay late outside and was exceptional!

The hallways were quite narrow and we were often struggling to pass by the cleaners trolleys with the baby stroller. The view also wasn’t so great from our room. Waiter at the dry rock bar was quite rude.

Room was clean, baby cot was provided for free. The room service was excellent and breakfast also. Lovely bathroom. Water, tea and coffee provided. Active suite staff were lovely and made us feel welcome and confident taking our baby to the pool. Reception girls also very nice.

Everything was fine except the bed mattress I prefer more comfortable and soft ,was too hard and I woke up with body aches 😢

The price of food in Bar and Restaurant and cost of our stay very expensive which didn,t even include 1 dinner.

Breakfast Great. Meals in Drydock very expensive. Sometimes very noisy at night with weddings etc. Lots of noise on corridors. Appeared to be very little security staff.

Not a great choice to eat.

We always stay here en route to the ferry as it’s a short 1/2 hour dash for the early morning crossing. Ease of access from the road means a quick getaway! The rooms are comfortable and the view over the river is lovely. Room 401 is near the elevator and has a great view. The staff are very pleasant.

Everything was superb; the staff; the food; the facilities and hotel ambiance; best hotel i have stayed in for a long time and super value We loved the curries from India that the chef made; clearly made by an expert and so unusual to be able to buy in a hotel-lovely naan bread and an excellent waiter from India who explained food form Kerala; Excellent waitresses in restaurant, Holly and young woman from Australia-very polite well mannered and professional This hotel also offers super value for money and is clearly a hotel that takes great care to train its staff and provide an overall inclusive and comfortable experience
