Cleanliness. A beautiful property like this should definitely allocate more resources to keeping it clean and hygienic. Understand that it is backwaters location so could be tough with many insects around but a more thorough cleaning before anyone checks in would be highly recommended. Lizards and Red Ants are avoidable.

Good Location and great views. Size of the rooms is pretty good as well. Amazing Hospitality from all the staff members, especially more so because we were travelling with a baby. Did their absolute best in making up for a disastrous check-in experience.

No tissue boxes and not that clean toilets

Amazing spot for a family vacation We booked Cottage room with Lake view including breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious more than we expected, washroom wasnt that clean but it is open bathroom and top part will be open. There were no hooks to keep the wet clothes after pool, the pool was bit crowdy and space was less, they provide evening snacks and tea/coffee which is extra payment. Breakfast was good and fresh, we had south indian also some English breakfast as well (French toast, Chicken sauage, and Boiled egg) also they had sweets and desserts We also had INR 1400/- extra house boat ride which fits 10 people and for 1 hour as sunset cruise. Checkin was smooth and staffs helped even to arrange early check in 1 hour and arranged all 5 rooms for our 10 people group. Minibar was empty, No hair dryer, room service was bit late when we asked for water and coffee packets. I must say front office staff Ms Soly Varghese and Mr Rajeev were so helpful and i must say they were the best to assist us in a very good manner, they helped us for the easy check in/out without much delays and also arranged a wheelchair for our mother when asked. The view from room was spectacular as seen on photos and the access to sitting area and walking path was also good for the cottage room with lake view. Overall i must say 8/10 and must try resort for a family staycation. None are really the resort's fault but might be things to consider before booking There were too many crows It was very humid in April. Entire kumarakom is, not just the resort. Pool is mostly always busy

Air conditioning was not good, staff didn’t have a dedicated time for cleansing and room service. They mixed up our laundry.

The room that i stayed in started leaking from the roof a bit - just a bit - after the previous day's rain. When I brought it to the attention of the staff they immediately offered to move me to another room. Hopefully they have fixed it.

First up, the staff were amazing. They were polite and ever so helpful with everything. The location was quiet away from the rush and the food was good. The rooms were nice and spacious and I loved it.

Arrived after lunch ended but they said I could get food from room service - unfortunately no one answered and got hung up on so had to wait for snacks by the pool at 5pm to eat. The boat trip was okay but not down the canals all you really see is the other hotels along the backwaters, 1400 seemed very pricey for what it is.

Lovely room with your own garden space and everything you need. Very welcoming on arrival. Had nice snacks by the pool in the evening.

The dirtiest swimming pool I have ever seen. It was so cloudy you couldn't even see the colour of the tiles. There is also a rule about only swimming in your swimmers, apparently it's okay for Indian families to swim in their clothes... no wonder the pool is so dirty... The hotel is quite old and a little run down, they should really refresh the shared facilities, open spaces and do some maintenance upgrades.

When I first arrived, the room that i was given, was not what I had requested. They quickly fixed this up for me, and I had the most loveliest and largest suite with my own backyard garden, outdoor shower and quite privacy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable (only Indian TV options) but great Wifi in the room. The food was magnificent, they hosted 3 daily buffets and the choice was endless, each day it was a different selection of food. If you ever needed anything the staff would even and go to the kitchen and find it for you. Compliments to the chef and the entire food catering team. In the evening, there was music playing in the Reception area, which was a nice touch. Access to house / river boat cruises and the Revival Ayurveda Centre (make sure you book in, they are busy) The location is great on the lake and the views are amazing. A big shout out to Jancy, she is a rockstar! She is always checking in, ensuring everything is okay, seeing if you need anything at all, she has a big kind heart and a lovely smile.

You should have a gym in future.

Breakfast was good, with a plenty of spreadout. Spacious dining news with plenty of natural air coming. Staff are very courteous. Good place for a break from work. Quire & xalm environment.

The table tennis board could have been placed in a dedicated room.

The pool water was not very clear. The additional cot was not very comfortable. It was moving around easily on the floor and the edges were sharp. The check out time of 11am was too early. The bathroom had a tub into which my aged parents couldn't climb !

The holiday was very nice Ms Jancy at the reception was very friendly. Mr Binoy at the restaurant was very helpful while ordering our lunch. Suggested a better option . My Jiby , the manager also was around all the time taking care of everything. The lunch and dinner buffets at 800 rs perperson is real value with the wide spread of food. The breakfast was also very lavish.

You should know that there is also a la carte dinner, not only buffet, but you need to specifically ask for the a la carte menu.

The breakfast experience was disappointing. Limited options and quantities, coupled with understaffing. Otherthan this everything was great.

Escaping the city hustle, the tranquility of nature was truly refreshing. The staff provided excellent service, and the room offered a spectacular view. Overall, a delightful experience.

The maintenance could have been a little better

Location on the bank of the lake, nice views and quality of food. Special mention of the Chef who prepared variety and ensured that he took feedback from the guests.
