The shower basin did not drain at all so that was not really good. The air conditioner noise was very loud. Otherwise really good.

Not a complaint, but guests should note that there is no lift, so you need to be fit and strong enough to heft your cases upstairs. There are no disabled facilities or access arrangements.

There are very few hotels and only limited B&B accommodation inside the town of Montalcino, so finding the Albergo Giardino was a bonus. It's brilliantly located at the bottom of the main street, about 250 metres from the central square. The rooms are a very good size. We chose one at the back of the hotel to avoid the street noise noted by a previous reviewer, and it proved delightfully quiet. We were in Montalcino in the midst of a heatwave, with day temperatures up to 38C. As a result the portable AC unit in the room was working overtime and struggling, which was hardly surprising. Nevertheless it managed to hold the temperature at a level that permitted sound sleep. Breakfast under the trees in the piazza outside was delightful. The receptionist/manageress is very helpful and cheerful.

Small hotel in the historic center of Montalcino. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We travel a lot, but we must say that we have found the best hospitality here, in this small hotel. Nida was amazing

Parking is a few minutes walking distance away from the hostel (walking back to your car you walk upwards). Our room, although very lovely, was quite small (2 people + 2 suitcases).

Albergo Giardino was one of our best stays in Tuscany. All that was possible to a wonderful host - Nida, who was there to make our stay best it could ever be. The place is located next to a charming town square and close to sights and viewpoints. It is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a true delight.

We loved Montalcino and Albergo Giardino. Very good breakfast very cleaned. Nida is a fantastic person, she was so lovely with us. We had a problem with our car and she came to pick us up 20km from the hotel at 11.00pm and helped us find a solution for our car. A big hug from all my family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Giardino. Nida was great at communicating ahead of our trip and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The location is wonderful with a sweet little public garden across the street. You can easily walk everywhere in the historic district . I will certainly stay there the next time I go to Montalcino!

Nothing to complain about

Clean nice room. Hot water, bathroom products. Big wardrobe. It was hot in the room during march. Great breakfast. Free Parking permission offered by our host. She was really comunicative and helped us with great advice. Also, we went for the wine tasting experience (14 EUR /person) and we highly recommend it.
