Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe had a small issue with the key not to the building but the apartment door which the rooms were inside. Was quite an old key/door, the first evening took us many attempts to get in, luckily a couple in another room could hear us struggling and opened the door from the other side, and the next day I asked Alfredo who showed us the knack too it it was absolutely fine. Think we should’ve paid more attention when he was showing us round.
Room was lovely and clean, same for the bathroom, looks nicer in real life than the photos! We even had a balcony that we didn’t know we were getting which was a lovely surprise. Hairdryer in the bathroom was handy, as well as mini shower gel/shampoo sachets. Also a small kitchen which we didn’t use but had a fridge, stove, microwave, etc. Bed was made up for us every day however would’ve liked fresh towels every day. Staff lovely and very helpful with any issues. A note that the property doesn’t accept card payment for city tax, not an issue as we went to an atm but would’ve been easier to know prior. Very close to nearest metro station going straight into central Rome which is a beautiful city. Highly recommend this property.

United KingdomThe exact address didn't match with the listing, it was given to me after booking via message and it turned out to be almost 1.5km from the original address given in the listing. Normally it wouldn't be a big problem, however I booked a taxi from the airport via Booking and when I was trying to update address it wanted to charde me extra £30 which was not worth for 20 minutes walk, however we arrived at 1am so ended up walking in unfamiliar area in the middle of the night which was not ideal. Also we booked this location because of how close it appeared to the local parkrun, and in the end we had to walk that extra 1.5km the next morning to attend the parkrun, again not a massive problem, but I'm not sure if I'd choose the same accomodation if I knew ot was somewhere else.
The room was adequate for the price with good location for underground which made it very easy to get to the city centre. The size of the room was ok for two people to stay overnight. The staff was very responsive and quickly replied to any issues we had.

Netherlands- There was no one when we arrived on a weekend day although we told them about our arrival time. We stood in front of the door with outr luggage after a long trip until we found a phone number and called them. They opened the door to us afterwards. I have expected they told us in advance that we needed to call them. - We stayed for 4 days but there was no cleaning service at all. Even we changed the rubbish bag by ourselves. It's more an apartment than a hotel in this case.
- Room was large and clean with a small fride, good air conditioner and private bathroom. - Location is good reachable to many sightseeing places within 20-30 mins by metro which is few mins away from the hotel. - The hotel has a washing machine and dryer which were accessible to us and that was a plus.

I received a message with the new address in advance but I didn’t realized it, I went to the address on the reservation and there, thanks to the help of other guests, I was able to talk to the person and understand the situation. No fridge.

Not far from metro station, also close bus stops. Around you can find nice caffes and restaurants. Very close 2 petrol stations.
