I would renew a bit the style but that is purely personal taste.

I think the room could have used more outlets, we only had 1 in our room.

The room and bathroom was the biggest we had during our trip to Italy. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is perfect, more or less around the corner of the train station. I particularly liked the breakfast, it was possible to have it also in their little jasmine garden. The staff is very nice and friendly, always prepared to help.

Our room was spacious and was decorated in a traditional, Italian art-deco style. However, the furniture is rather old (and old-looking) and I have the feeling that it at times makes it difficult to keep the place perfectly clean (there is quite some dust, but these seems symptomatic for many Italian old "palaces").

I have somewhat mixed feelings about our stay here. To begin with, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Florence and is itself in a beautiful, old palace. The staff is very welcoming, accommodating and kind, ready to assist when needed. Breakfast is rich and can be enjoyed in a patio. But the whole place seems a bit dated (see below).

The pictures of the hotel make one think that it is palatial and large, but it is, in fact, a small hotel. That said, the decor is lovely-- although not grand and palatial like the pictures suggest.

The desk staff were incredibly helpful and nice. We made lots of dinner and other reservations and they helped us immensely. The staff were absolutely great-- very, very helpful and sweet-- and the breakfasts were really good. Service was very good. It is right across the street from an outstanding restaurant (Osteria Pastella) and the staff helped us a lot getting restaurant reservations and taxis when Uber was busy.

Wonderful old atmospheric hotel a very short walk from the historic centre of Florence and from the Airport tram terminus. The area is vibrant, with lots of good restaurants and bars a very short walk from the hotel. Staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Highly recommended.

Bedrooms overlooking the main street can be a little noisy. We asked if we could be moved to a quieter location and we were accommodated by the team, the staff were brilliant.

The location is really handy for the station and all the sights are easily walkable. The staff are all lovely. The bedrooms are really pretty, great choices for breakfast. We would definitely book again when we return.

A minor maintenance issue; The shower head kept falling out of the holder.

The room was ready a bit early for us and we found it very comfortable and quiet.Bathrobes were a nice touch and we loved the breakfast in the pleasant courtyard/garden. The staff was very helpful, giving directions to tourist sites and making dinner reservations at 2 very good nearby restaurants.
