How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Only one restaurant available the other didn’t open.
Its a new resort with large golf course & spa facilities. The rooms were modern & clean. Only one restaurant was available during our stay.

It is a shame that you cannot open a window in the bathroom... with the sun at the end of the day it is very hot. Plus the smell of the pipes in the shower is not very nice :( The worst is the road driving to the entrance of the hotel which is close to a water treatment facility and the smell is absolutely not nice.
The hotel is nice and the facilities are good.

Dear booking team Unfortunately i had to ask you a refund of the date 28 January as i was planning to stay in arg Resort for two nights and i payed for two nights for i relax trip with facilities that you mentioned in your website as i trust booking and im a very loyal costumer but when i arrive i found it difficult to relax and have a good time First of all my room was very noisy from a new born baby was crying all day and night time and when i decided to eat they apologised that the restaurant i wanted to had dinner in is closed And there is only the club house restaurant which is the room service so i tried to order 5:40 but they told me sorry we can’t offer you main course before 7 so i checked the snack menue which was 4 kinds of sandwiches but they inform me that the sandwiches already finish and only one kind left and it was pork and we dont eat pork So we went back to order the room service and we asked for a club sandwich without bacon but they say sorry we cant make it!!! At the end we order pasta with tomato sauce When we tried to sleep the baby was crying and there was maintenance… so we decided to complete out vacation in the place where we will end our vacation in .. so please you can contact the hotel team and they apologised to us because they know what we have been through and they told us that they will contact you for refund not a voucher

No service around the pool deck. Bar staff were very difficult to find when you wanted an evening drink on the patio.

The Hotel hat absolutely no flair/ no charm/ no comfort - minimalist interior without taste. Price/value was very bad. For a Golf Hotel the restaurants were unspectacular and of low quality: e.g. burger served dry and without sauce only ketchup/ majonese aside. Being hotel guest did not provide any benefit for the green fee. Staff at the breakfast was slow and inattentive. Overall, we would not come back. The hotel, which was similar prices to the other ones we has during the trip, was the worst. For a hotel in this price category we would have expected more, also food wise. I mean, it is still in italy with proximity to great food, which is easily prepared.
Location was ok, though somewhat hidden.

There were several areas that we feel could have Been so much better and we really feel we still would return for the golf but not at all stay there. To start out the main lobby always smelled of sewage. The resort as a whole were very unfriendly toward English speaking guests. They had 1000 tv stations with not 1 English speaking channel, but they did have at least 8 German speaking channels. We asked for an explanation from 4 different hotel services but No One got back to us.
The food and the staff at the golf course was better than we expected

Everything was wonderful. No complaints.
Everything was superb.. Beautiful surroundings... Wonderful staff... The directors nicola and Andrea were great. Golf course brilliant... For me this is definitely 5 stars, the service great, really friendly helpful staff, we loved every minute of our stay and are hoping to return in September. Lovely beach about 15mins by car or shuttle, with a really nice beach restaurant with great food and good prices especially the wine.
