Perfect location, only 2 min walking from the main square and 5 min from different bus stops. Our hosts, Carmine and Emma, gave us great tips to make the best of our two days in Capri. Very nice breakfast, including fresh croissants and other typical biscuits from the region. Highly recommended!

Some travelers may find Anacapri a bit far from the heart of Capri but this is the reality of this small island and this property is within walking distance of bus stops and taxis. It is basically unsafe to walk down to Capri on the main road - however, one can go down the 2,400 years old La Scala Fenicia stairway, a highly recommended, very scenic descent to the Grande Marina.

Excellent host (Carmine - spelling?). Very helpful with directions to Napoli (from Anacapri) and general information. Excellent breakfast (croissants, toasts, fruits, yogurt, coffee) served by host. Location close to good restaurants, buses and taxis. Very quiet room. Plenty of space and clean. Nice bathroom. There is also a nice, very spacious veranda with ample seating choices, part of the property. Also a small balcony, with a view of the mountains.

Located minutes walking from the heart of Anacapri, Il Vicolo is owned by a couple that takes such a good care of the place. Everything is clean, tidy and organized. They will not measure efforts to help you if you need and will make sure you feel at home. The location, the place, the breakfast, the room, the bathroom, Wi-Fi connection, everything was 10/10. Strongly recommend this place in the Island!

Very basic. Its a place to sleep. No pool or beach of course. Few minutes walk to the bus. No real breakfast. Just some toast bread , cereal, jam , yoghurt. I usually eat hm sandwich etc… but since you eat great food all day, very small breakfast was not a problem at all.

Chill vibe. Beautiful. Basic,but - all we needed was there. Its like a local family business, very personal. Owners dedicated and helpfull. Super nice too.

The owner was very accomodating and made our stay on Capri special with personal recommendations about the best spots, etc. We've had a very delicious breakfast with yummy pastries and fresh coffee. The patio was blissfully quiet and we loved to look at the garden. The location is in a very quiet street and you reach central Anacapri within three minutes by foot. We definitely recommend staying at Il Vicolo. Thanks a million!

The accommodation was excellent. The room was nice, the outside terrace was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and also very keen to go an extra mile to make our stay good. The breakfast had plenty of things to choose from (ham, cheese, bread, pastries, fruits, coffee, juices, and some excellent tomatoes!). While you don't have a view of the sea, you do get a very nice view of the hills/cliffs of Anacapri. We were also happy to stay in Anacapri, as it was much less busy than Capri, while still being beautiful and having enough restaurants, terraces, shops, etc.
