We loved nearly everything about the hotel and the room we selected. However, our room was rather small and the amazing sloped wood ceiling made the space seem even smaller. We needed to coordinate our movement within the space. Not a significant problem - just an inconvenience :)

We were delighted with this gem of a hotel. Parking on the premises was available. We were warmly greeted and took the lift to our attic room (with an amazing sloped wood ceiling). Everything was very clean, a kettle with teabags and sweet treats sat on the desk, and the bathroom had plush towels and lovely smelling toiletries. The bed was very comfy and we awoke to the delicious smells of breakfast. The breakfast service was absolutely lovely and the food did not disappoint. We felt pampered and were grateful for the experience. Next time we would like to spend some time enjoying their lovely outdoor spaces.

Actually, nothing could have been better. It was perfect--and delightful. I look forward to my return visit and stay there.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with information and getting settled in my room. The location was great as I walked to attend a concert at the Basilica. I had a quiet morning reading in my room, I did not go to Breakfast. The staff noticed I missed breakfast and offered to prepare something for me afterwards. They were very considerate and kind.

This is a beautiful hotel with elegant rooms in a peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside dining and sitting area with its attractive garden. The breakfast was exceptional with the best selection of hot and cold, and sweet and savoury items we have experienced.

Comfortable and spacious room very tastefully designed, in a beautifully modernized ancestral home. Wonderful and generous breakfast with varied options and a beautiful terrace for both dining and an evening wine bar. Perfect haven after a long flight.

The room was near the kitchen and sometimes it was noisy. The main problem with the breakfast is that there were no vegetables, and, unfortunatelly the staff cannot speak english well and it caused some misunderstanding with the orders.

Location is perfect and the house is very nice. Everything which was served for breakfast was at a high level.

Beds in twin were very large but bed sheets was used as a duvet covers (when duvet is not putted inside but between 2 sheets), it is typical for Italy, but 4-5 starts should change it on modern comfortable duvet covers. I don't like carpet floors in the rooms. Shower watering can is fixed in the wall in old manner, and can't be moved for taking a shower, very inconvenient.

Warm large room. Large bathroom, hot water. Breakfast was quite good. Furniture is quite old. Parking garage 7 euro/day in the building next to the hotel.

WiFi coverage could be a bit better, there was no WiFi in the backyard. Most of the staff don't speak English, so it was a bit hard to communicate with them. Our room had a private entrance and was also connected to some common space through a door that was typically closed. The private entrance door had a digital DND indicator. One time I enabled it to not get disturbed, yet the staff was anyway trying to get inside to clean the room through the other door. Which was a bit problematic, since they didn't speak English.

The staff was very welcoming and nice. The place was clean and spacious. We had both a bathtub and a shower cabin which was very convenient. The location was quiet and convenient. The fruits we had for breakfast were extremely delicious.
