Close to the Duomo and tower. Easy check-in and check-out. Basic facilities, but everything was provided.

Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk to the major sites. Check-in was very smooth & the property was spotlessly clean!. An added bonus was having aircondioning + mosquito nets, essential during summer.

I wish booking.com had mentioned that Pisa as a city doesn’t allow use of air conditioning until a specific date in May - which was after we visited. Not the property’s fault but perhaps they also should have told us

Not the fault of hotel but at 5 am Sunday morning the refuse collection makes a noise emptying recycling collection point's

Location brilliant had to park just outside wall as it was 3.50 e an hour. As it was .75 c an hour outside. Good bathroom, kettle in room with teabags, good hanging space. Location 400 m to restaurants, 600 m to tower.

The noises from the street could be heard inside the room.

We went on a date that the air conditioner was not allowed to be used. I don´t remember to have read anything about that before and the room was hot and with a lot of mosquitos (this seems to be a problem of the whole city, and not only of the hotel). Definitely, that made a little bit uncomfortable our stay. But in general was a great choice for us. I would repeat it

I couldn't find a socket near the kettle so had to move it to plug it in by the bed. We couldn't find how to turn the air conditioning on but in any case it was cool enough at night not to require it.

Hotel Cecile is a great value for money hotel in a good location close to the Tower. The bed was comfortable and we weren't disturbed by noise during the night. The bathroom was good and relatively spacious. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was a little bit basic and could probably be doing with an update, having said that it was comfortable and clean.

Good location, friendly atmosphere and staff, good parking facilities that are secured at night and the restaurant although having a limited menu provided a very good meal, breakfast was also good.

A lot of noise from cars running over loose road paving stones late at night and early morning. This street badly needs repairing now. Noise from carpark next door early in morning.

The wifi is not working at all

The bedroom was in the street side, a really noise street, we can hear everything of outside and everything of the other bedrooms. The windows was loudly to open/closed and the bedroom doesn't look so modern like the photos show. In the room the wall heating was turn off and we didn't have the air conditioning control (but we didn't ask for one after noticing it’s absence). The receptionist was nice and let us store our bag after checkout (10h30 in the morning) and offer to call us a taxi.

Locations was great, really nearby the pisa tower and coffees and restaurants. The hotel has a food/drinks vending machine in the lobby.

It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room, the staff at check-in could be more pleasant.

Great location really close to Pisa tower, we had a quite room due to road construction and after season but not sure if it's that quiet in high season being near the street.

Paper cups - not only that it was paper cups but they were not replaced and neither was the milk. Shower surround - awful concertina doors No fridge or safety deposit box

We hadn’t realised it was practically un manned, we had a code for the door to get in and a lady came and checked us in and another kind lady carried our heavy suitcase up a flight of stairs to our room. After that we didn’t see anyone. The other downside was they couldn’t book us a taxi to the airport for early the next morning so we ended up walking to the station at 6.30am and getting the shuttle to the airport. It was quite a nice walk. Could have been a problem if it had been pouring with rain. The lady gave us a taxi number we could have phoned just prior to leaving but that was a bit out of my comfort zone and all in Italian of course.

Room, clean and fresh, good shower, proximity to Tower of Pisa and restaurants and a 17 minute walk to main Station Pisa Centrale.

Very noisy. Lots of noise from above and beside us. Banging in the night I did not sleep one bit the first night. Room cleaners come about 8am.

Lovely clean and modern room. Very spacious.

Very basic services and front desk isn’t staffed properly in the few hours they operate it during the day.
