Difficult to drive (extremely steep), our room was not empty when we arrived (people left luggage), got a downgraded room in place. Had to ask explicitly for reduced price on checkout due to this change. Difficult to dinner, took a while to get a menu, and extremely limited choice.

First of all part of employee is not speaking in English or very bad. It was hard to understand something and receive some information back. SPA - is not included in the price and when i was booking hotel, i have not find this information. 10 EUR per one hour. With that price for room SPA could be included.

I tried to get in touch with them before my stay but no one got in touch. We tried email and message via booking.com. Breakfast was included and seemed great, however, we wish they had vegan options so we could also enjoy it.

The car park was daunting at first (steep approach and narrow) but you got used to it. If you walk into town is is not a great distance (nowhere is) but the last sections of the return are steep! We booked B&B only but it would have been useful to have the evening meal menu available for the week so we could plan when to eat in or walk into town more easily.

Breakfast was great and evening meal good if you did not want to walk into town. The bar has a lovely range of grappa and local wines with friendly hosts who spoke good English and German (as well as Italian of course). On the Sunday evening the host family welcome all guests with complimentary Aperol Spritz and nibbles. They keep chickens and goats too which were fun to watch. The rooms are a good size and in good order. The bathroom and shower good once you were used to the slightly small enclosure (but we are spoilt at home having just installed a big one at home). I would certainly recommend upgrading to one of the valley view rooms, the view is stunning. In true Italian style they do not bombard you with written information so do ask as they will expect you to - for example you have to ask what the menu options are and select in advance. The indoor SPA was very good. It had to be booked (no cost) but was private for your booking. The outdoor SPA was not available during our visit but the dreaded Covid may have had something to do with that, that and the fact it was only just Spring.

Up a very steep hill so walking up from Moena not for the unfit/disabled or elderly. Parking very tight and access would be tricky in snowy conditions. Only access is up steps or very steep drive way. Have recently had a hip replacement and found access a bit of a struggle. We ate in restaurant once in the evening. Food was good (veggie main meal of a stack of raw toms and mozarella cheese not so good) and it would have been better if they displayed the menu for the whole week rather than having to ask daily. We paid €18 a head for 3 courses which was good value but pricing not displayed anywhere. Lack of fruit at breakfast, a fruit bowl would have been welcome. A mini fridge in the room would have been handy and perhaps a small welcome pack with key info about the hotel such as breakfast and evening meal info, spa booking prcedure etc. Hotel has outside sauna and hot tub but no info on how to get access.

Lovely friendly hotel with amazing views. Staff were so helpful despite our poor Italian! Rooms were spotless and nothing was too much trouble. Good food selection at breakfast and Wolf the dog kept us entertained! Spa was great but you need to pre-book. Floating pool liner was a bit weird but didn't spoil our use of it. Chickens, goats and sheep in garden outside which was nice. Bar available most of the time, you just need to ask whoever is on reception and they will come and serve you. Good outside seating area but was in the shade mostly (visited mid March).would imagine it will be a nice spot to sit out in the summer. Ski boot room available but didn't use. Room had a small but pretty balcony.

BOOKING.COM CUSTOMERS take note. El Larsh does a bait and switch. Because I did not book with El larch they put me up in a small place several miles away. I was looking forward to taking advantage of El larch amenities. Breakfast lame. When checking in woman knew no English. Don't stay here if you use booking.com

The staff was so kind and the beds were very comfy! Our children loved swimming in the pool, chatting with the chickens, and exploring Moena. We would LOVE to come back with our family!

Pillipo, was very helpful. His dog Lucky helped to make us feel right at home. He was loving and kind. Pillipo gave us good directions to a nice hike and information about the local area. He made our stay a gracious host. We will definitely come back again.
