A beautifully restored 15th century farm complex. Very luxurious facility surrounded by a working farm. Excellent service and breakfast.

Door was dragging and was hard to close/open. I reported it and no one came to check/fix. Very humid inside and smell of mold. We had to have window open all the time, but considering it's very old building I understand.

Nothing really. If anything, the shower could have been a little more powerful.

The grounds were so beautiful and the pool area was truly stunning. We ate dinner at the hotel too which was delicious.

The lighting in the dining room in the evenings was WAY too bright. The dining room was not very atmospheric. No candles, etc, which spoils the dining experience We stayed for a week and, although the food was excellent, the menu didn't change during our stay, so we were bored with the food and didn't like the dining room ambience in any case. The bar area is beautiful, but there were not enough staff, seating areas to enjoy it fully. The lunch options were meagre and not much choice. The hotel needs to do more on the food front. It is in a beautiful, quiet location and needs to provide a wider choice of food and drink.

Excellent Italian breakfast. Beautiful grounds, building, surroundings and pool and outside dining area all excellent. Staff were lovely.

The staff was super accomodating, super friendly and always helpful. The Hotel itself was very beautiful, we loved the pool area. Beds were very comfortable.

Restaurant needed more ambiance. We had dinner there first night and whilst the food was delicious there was no atmosphere. Only us and one other couple were dining and the lights were on full and we were sat by the door next to a high chair.

Really the only thing I can comment on is that they have two types of Junior Suite rooms, which cost the same but look very different. The bigger one was occupied when we got there, so we got the smaller one - still lovely, but just a bit misleading.

Absolutely amazing property, beautiful grounds and room. Close to Ostuni as well (10-15 mins driving), so really convenient.

Nothing whatsoever

This place is an absolute dream. It’s like a Italian movie set. Everything is perfect. Staff are incredible, the pool area is like nothing you could imagine, food is amazing, rooms are immaculate and spacious…. Breathtaking scenery everywhere! Location is ideal, perfectly remote but still only 10 mins from the busy Ostuni centre. This is an incredible place and somewhere we will remember forever.

We absolutely loved our stay at Masseria Santo Scalone. Beautiful property with a swimming pool. Great location. What can we say about the staff ….. they were fantastic. They all went above and beyond to help us, provide information and arrange transfers and restaurant reservations. We were always greeted with a smile and great service. We were sad to leave. Highly recommend this property.

Breakfast could have more options from day to day but other than that small detail, everything was amazing.

I absolutely loved this stunning property. It really was a magical experience and a very relaxing vacation. The staff was lovely and the room was very comfortable. My favorite was the pool, my kids enjoyed swimming with the amazing views while my husband and I enjoyed a cheese platter with vino every day!

Amazing Masseria! Breakfast was wonderful, location is a short drive from town but beautifully secluded, and lots of activities nearby that the hotel are happy to organise for you.
