Everything was wonderful! The hotel itself was quaint and lovely. The rooftop terrace offered the best view, the room was stunning. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. And the area was perfectly situated to explore Florence. I feel truly lucky to have discovered this hotel.

I liked the feel of the hotel, which was on the 3&4 floors of an old property. my room was very big with stone floors and a bath. it has a rooftop view of the Pitti Palace. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a nice central area with restaurants and bars close by. it's 5 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio and a bit more to the Uffizi.

The only thing that was disappointing is the breakfast. The juices came out of a bottle (were not fresh) and it was simply not so tasty. Luckily we didn’t include breakfast in our booking, so we could go somewhere else for a coffee and bite. Also, the rooftop terrace is absolutely beautiful, but you can only sit there if you order a drink (it is a separate restaurant) and those drink aren’t that cheap.

It is a beautiful hotel in an absolutely perfect location. The surroundings are beautiful, and you can walk to so many nice restaurants and areas in the city. The staff is very friendly, and helpful if you need anything. Rooms are big and clean.

The hotel is located in an amazing location, walking distance to everything and with amazing restaurants and cafes right outside. The hotel itself has a beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast and aperitivo with wonderful views. The staff is so professional and attentive— and the rooms were very clean!

The room wasn't very clean. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Very uneven. There should be a major renovation and update on mattresses. The price should be much lower for the kind of rooms offered.

The staff at the front desk. They were harried and busy all the time checking in people who were going to the rooftop bar. We saw this all throughout our stay. On our first day, we weren't even greeted with the most basic, "Hello, welcome" when they realized we were here to check in. We were greeted with a "Wait one moment" and were not asked even the basic questions of how was our trip or travel as they were checking our passports and noticed we had traveled from CA., USA. They seemed bothered to have to deal with us. In fact, it was my husband who started with the pleasantries (which is bare minimum in the hospitality business). He was the one that said "Hi and how are you today". They also messed up our dinner reservation and conferred among themselves instead of taking the extra step of calling the restaurant. Additionally, they charged us for cappuccinos mid morning after the espresso machine was broken and we had no coffee with breakfast. When I asked if they could comp that considering we didn't get with our breakfast, they said "No, it's not the breakfast time and you must pay".

We loved, loved, loved the location. The room was lovely and the Loggio was INCREDIBLE with gorgeous views.

The shower plumbing needed some work as it was difficult to adjust. The room would have benefited from a strategically placed power board with USB charging ports

Our room had very high fresco ceiling which was amazing. The balcony opened on to the Santo Spirito piazza looking on the Santo Spirito basilica. The 3rd floor balcony bar has a great view of the hills and various basilica's, book ahead. The friendly staff worked very hard to help us with an iron, luggage assistance and an electrical extension cord.

There was no cold water coming from the tap, and the staff was quite arrogant when we reported about it. The breakfast was not very good for this prize.

The photos are entirely misleading. The hotel is on the top two floor of a building and reached by a mosquito filled shoddy lift which is also used to empty bins. The area is quite far from the centre and while is it full of life (market, your hipster bars), it is not the kind of neighbourhood for these prices. This fabric of the building is poor and the air-conditioning ineffective and old.

The view from the terrace is good but is available to any one who uses the bar. I regret not spending 8 euro on a cocktail rather than close to 50 times that for a disappointing room.

It was so loud it felt like I was actually sleeping in the square. The air conditioning did not work as advertised. Horrible experience. I wish I had never gone. Completely ruin my first visit to Florence. I left feeling exhausted.

We started itching on the second night of our visit (we stayed two nights) and then the day of check out we realized we had bites on our bodies and since I work in pest control I had a feeling of what it was and so looked under the mattress and confirmed it was bedbugs. The manager seemed very concerned so I’m sure it will be handled but as it’s my first time experiencing bedbugs firsthand I’m quite irritated.

As you can see I rated this hotel high. The staff was very accommodating on arrival, the location is a spot we now would prefer to stay in on our next visit, the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful with beautiful views of the city.

The price (high) doesn’t match the quality of the service. The breakfast is miserable - the coffe is a nespresso machine and an American coffee maker. Being in a palazzo and not being able to have a real Italian cafe is a no go. it’s the type of breakfast you would get in a Ibis not why y oh expect from a place like this. Cleanliness of the room could be improved. It did not feel like being in an Italian hotel.

The location, which is excellent. The terrace, with an amazing view and very nice for apéro time. The room was big and practical for a family of four. The building is beautiful, very old age.
