It’s in a pedestrian area - would be good if they provided a free pick up service from taxi / bus stop (13 euros one way for a short golf cart)

Every single thing. The staff, the facilities, the location is exceptional. Our rooms were perfect with great products provided. I will go back there at any opportunity. The beach club there was stunning.

Perhaps not enough storage,.. but it didn’t affect the trip at all. And the sister hotel for (for gym/spa/beach access) has fantastic staff, service, and food is delicious. But sister resort itself would be perfect with a slight style overhaul - it’s a little disappointing as the Miraare is sooooo perfect. Again, this didn’t ruin our trip and we will be back!

It was definitely an older crowd. The restaurant felt a little like a retirement dining hall. Could really improve the lighting/ambiance in the resturant.

It was lovely having the springs included, as the weather wasn’t ideal. I can imagine the water is beautiful with nicer conditions. Breakfast was fantastic.

There is no pool at the property itself and you have to take a short electric car to the thermal pools at the sister complex. No big deal for us, but might put some people off. You will also need an electric car to take your luggage to the accommodation from the bus station or taxi stand. We had taken a private transfer on the way and it was included in the price; on leaving the property it cost EUR 20. (The hotel hadn’t told us the price, so worth checking.) The hotel didn’t offer us much information on things to do or see in the local area and staff didn’t always have the info we asked for (for example, we asked what time the bus was at and they didn’t know - in the end, we googled it and found the answer but for a 5 star, you’d expect staff to know or find out, I suppose).

The property is in Sant’Angelo, which is a beautiful spot in the south of Ischia. The island is beautiful overall, but from what we saw of it, Sant’Angelo was the perfect spot for us - very peaceful, old worldly in its charm, less busy than some other spots (yet with a nice little vibe nonetheless). Our room looked directly onto the sea, which was spectacular and the most special way to wake up in the morning. We loved our room and balcony, and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning. We also really liked the thermal pools at the sister hotel, and being handy for the local town of Sant’Angelo for drinks and food. The local bus (#1) takes you just about anywhere you’ll want to go on the island and is just EUR 1.60 per person one day. (Otherwise, a taxi to the Castello Aragonese is EUR 50.)

This is not a 5 start hotel. Many of the staff, especially in the morning, are totally indifferent and need to be prompted. The cleaning was good but not great in our room. Quite a few things in the room were broken, toilet seat, light bulbs. No where to hang anything outside of the wardrobe. Minimalism taken to the extreme.

Stunning location, great breakfast, great spa. The staff at the spa were really good and super efficient. Amazing views from all of hotel and in Sant' Angelo.

Room not clean , humid, bathrobes we’re old

Therme pools, view, administrative personal been helpful. Had problems with the first shower in our first room water came out to the wall of the room. The second room was big, and terrace as well, though together with amazing view you see old and not restructured roof the terrace downstairs. And bath room was old.
