It’s an older building, and our room was small even for Japanese standards - it would have been fine for one person, but it was really too small for two - especially as one of us had a lot of luggage. There wasn’t really any room to open it. We opted to not have cleaning during our stay because we couldn’t see how they would get round the luggage and the size of the room. Also, when we first got to the room, we noticed there were dust and cobwebs in some parts of the room, particularly the corners and on top of the TV. The room didn’t seem dirty otherwise, just worn.

The location was excellent. So close to the subway station. The staff were also very kind and polite, and very accommodating and patient with storing my sister’s copious luggage before check in and after we checked out. Breakfast was enjoyable too, with Japanese staple foods as well as continental ones.

When I first came into the room, it looked like it hadn't been entered in a while (surfaces quite dusty). After the first cleaning by the housekeeping staff it was much better so I guess the room simply hadn't been used in a while. Overall the hotel seems to be a bit of an older APA hotel but for the location and the price it was worth it. Also the room was very very small; I expected this and for Tokyo/Japan within this price range it's the norm but if your luggage is bigger than a small backpack/handbag, the only place to even open it is on the bed.

The location was just perfect. Two subway stations in walking distance, plenty of small restaurants and bars around and quite some tourist attractions within walking distance, too. Also despite the density of bars, absolutely no issue with noise. In case anyone requires any ammenities (toiletries, hair dryer, bath robe, etc): these were all provided and even replenished every day. Even when guests don't want the room to be cleaned, the housekeeping staff will leave a nice "care package" in front of the door every day to make sure guests have everything and don't need to ask at the reception.

Very very clean , very quite room and 2 mins from metro station, staff very polite and English speaking. Fully recommended. The room was a bit small for western travellers but my experience in Tokyo says that almost al hotels have rooms like this.

Very cramped. Bed and pillows were on the stiffer side. Wasn't perfectly clean - there were some spots of green on one towel and found a long hair in a folded one. Toilet made a loud noise every time you sat on it (a rush of water which I'm sure served some purpose other than a jumpscare in the middle of the night). The temperature in the shower would waver every two minutes to be a little too hot then a little too cold before returning to normal.

The staff were friendly, the location was good for walking around as well as getting to a train station, and the air conditioning was easy to operate while making a pleasing rain-like white noise. Fair amount of coat hangers for such a small space and I liked all the lighting options.
