Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The building was very well maintained. The room was spacious and equipped a large bath tub. Food was delicious, though I found the soup was slightly salty. But what I liked the most was the staff. They were very well trained, kind and polite. They always smiled at us. We brought our 2-years old child and they treated her as if she were an adult guest. We were so impressed by their professionalism. I strongly recommend the ones who travel with your little ones.

Everything about this was great. One of the best hotels I have ever been. Every detail in hotel was well planned and looks amazing. It is different than most corporate hotels I visited. This hotel has something more. Has soul. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone. Food was amazing.

SingaporeAir con in room - room was so hot (albeit this August was particularly hot). Place feels like you are staying in your stuffy old aunt's place - nicely furnished and comfortable but many rules about what you can and can't do! For example, the restaurant and room service have very limited hours, but when we wanted to have a bottle of wine with some snacks late afternoon we couldn't sit inside the restuarant / lounge areas, only outside on the terrace which was unbearably hot (even for us Singapore residents). We ended up going up and down the hill to the town for food and wine. Also no gym (we sort on hotels searches for 5-stay hotels+gym+rankings). While it seems churlish to complain about a place that is in general very nice, of the ~10 hotels we stayed in on this 3.5 week trip this was the worst value for money and most disappointing compared to our expectations. While we are not young anymore this isn't really a place for young people

Israelthe location is remote and there is nothing there. it is far from town center. the hotel is nice and some rooms has nice views. the views are not superb. we didn't eat their expensive dinner and perhaps this is their highlight. the very high price is not justified by what you really get. if it was considerably less we could recommend the hotel.
