Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNo complaints.
The riad was in a perfect spot in the Medina. Very close to Jemaa El Fna, but still quiet. There was enough going on that it was perfectly safe for two women to walk home at midnight. The rooms were lovely and very clean. Ali the host is a literal angel. The hospitality was so lovely that it made our trip all the better. We knew we were arriving late from the airport, so we arranged for dinner at the riad. We had a meat and vegetarian tagine, and tbh it was the best meal we had in Marrakech.

Our host was very warm and welcoming. She helped with our every request and question. Our stay was really pleasant thanks to her and her staff. I'd really recommend booking a dinner with them, the chef made us some amazing local meals. The rooftop terrace lets you see the whole city and the Atlas in the back. All in all the building was amazing, and we felt very safe and welcome here. We wholeheartedly recommend them!

MontenegroBeautiful riad, freat staff, like everything a little hard to find but no big deal, type it into google maps. Good breakfast, very beautiful property, large comfy room. We really enjoyed it. You can use the rooftop swimming pool of the sister riad but we didn't have time to do that at the end.

United Kingdom"Everything was fine on our end."
The riad is situated in a tranquil area, which is only a 12-15 minute walk away from the main square. This is a great advantage because you can rest in a quieter area, yet still remain very close to the center. Ali, Yolande, Ayat, and Hafida have been extremely helpful with their advice and recommendations. We had dinner at the riad for two nights, and the food was fantastic, especially the beef tajine with prunes and almonds. The area surrounding the riad is popular and local, so bear in mind that it is not a luxurious place, but it is a great way to experience the city's authenticity. If you are looking for luxury, it is recommended to stay in the fake and new outskirts of the city rather than the medina. Thank you for everything, we definitely plan on returning in the future!

ItalyThe houses are two, One in front of the other. For this reason some pictures that you can see when you book couldn't be of your room becouse you don't know in which of the two homes you will stay. Anyway both homes are nice and with all services. It's a traditional Riad house, so It has a particular acustic for this reason you can here some noises inside the house. For us it wasn't a problem, but maybe for someone it could be. In all traditional houses I think you can here the noises of the house, so if you want to stay in a Riad you have to take into consideration this. If you want isolation for sounds I think you have to chose a new building or maybe an hotel
Kindness of Ali and his availability. Good position to visit the city. Very clean. The terrace on the roof.

It's a nice example of Riad, owning its own inner space and peace forming a sharp contrast from its exterior. The deco is lovely. Ali has been very helpful and friendly. It was quiet inside as I was the only guest staying there. You can hear the sounds of motorbikes and playing kids in the streets, but this is why we choose to stay in the Medina and a traditional building to experience the genuine feeling. Seemingly it is located not close to the Big Square, but as Ali showed, taking the right path only takes about 10 mins to get there.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and varied each day. We were also impressed by the pool on the rooftop which we were able to enjoy daily. New ZealandWas a bit tricky finding our way back on the first night in the dark. We recommend taking a couple of photos of signage on the route out so you can get back easily.
A lovely place to stay while in Marrakesh. The staff were very welcoming and happy to assist throughout our stay, Owner Yolande arranged a taxi to pick us up from the train station, was there to greet us and gave us advice on good places to visit. She was very obliging when we wanted to extend our stay, including juggling rooms so we could be accommodated. The riad is lovely, in a good position right inside the medina and is beautifully decorated...you really know you are in Morroco! Breakfast was great and attractively served. We totally recommend staying here.

United KingdomIf rain is forecast in the night, move the metal chairs in the courtyard or the pinging of the drips will keep you awake!
Authentic quality accommodation with a super helpful host, Yolande. The riad was so amazingly decorated that the Bahia Palace was nothing special in comparison!! It is perfectly positioned a couple of streets from the main action so is close to everything but very quiet. There is a lovely roof terrace and pool at the sister riad across the alley, if you like sun worshiping. Bread, pancakes, jam, fruit, orange juice and coffee for breakfast at a time to suit you, including early for flight.

United KingdomIt is right in the Medina! This means it is noisy, hard to get to by car/taxi. You have to walk down the narrow streets to get out and they are full of people/mopeds (normal for Marrakech). Our room was on the ground floor and right by the entrance and could be noisy at night with children playing in the doorway and youths hanging out later (not a problem as they live there) and can disturb you. These are all minor things just to be aware of. It’s still great.
The property is very pleasant. We were the only people staying in the house so we had use of the lounge to ourselves which is good as the room opens directly on to it. We also had use of a small kitchen with a fridge, again very useful to keep water cool. The main house is across the alleyway and this has a terrace with a pool, great for an afternoon after thé Medina. It is right in the Medina! Yoland is marvellous and provided for all our needs. Breakfast is simple but plentiful. WiFi is very good.

United KingdomThe room was very stuffy but with the aircon way too cold (at least for me, even at 22degrees overnight). Given that it's a family business who also prepared the food on the terrace, sunbathing there the western way felt inappropriate.
We had a suite room type (and our friends had a regular room, substantially smaller) - spacious, decent sized bathroom, wardrobe and a big outside window (although due to outside we did not open it). The room was tidied every day. The premises had a roof terrace where we had breakfasts, great for sunsets and sunrises too. The accommodation also offers dinners that should be booked in advance (we never tried). There was also a small pool at the top but with our schedule we never managed to sit around.
