The roof terrace could have been cleaner. Ash from the volcano wasn't cleaned away, which made sitting up there a bit uncomfortable.

The room was very spacious and we loved the colorful, composer themed decor. Location is excellent - and even though it is on a street that can get busy it was very quiet. It was very thoughtful to provide a pitcher of filtered water in the room with easy refills across the hall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you!

There were a couple things that knocked our stay down from a 10 to a 9. We first got placed in a room without AC even though our booking said AC. This room was in the back of the building and would have been much quieter. So it was a shame it didn't work out. They agreed to move us quickly after we brought it up. The new room was at the front of the building which is on one of the busiest 1 way streets going through the center. However, with the patio door closed, blackout curtains and decorative curtains closed with AC on, most cars passed without notice. It's the big trucks and motorcycles that reverberate and make the room Very loud on occasion. We stayed Fri to Mon and honestly it was the worst on Monday morning. The bigger issue was cleaning. The area rugs and floors are noticeably not clean. The rugs are pretty gross. They need to go. This was the case in both rooms. We shoved them under the bed because it was better to just walk on the floor. The cleaning staff only gets brooms, no vacuums. So it's impossible to clean the rugs and I think they miss some dirt and debris on the floor, even though they are cleaning. Simple vacuums and occasional mops would fix this issue. Bed sheets, pillows and bathroom were very clean.

We really liked the location, size of the room, comfy bed, instant hot water in the shower and a good working AC. I feel like the location cannot be beat, you are really close to everything to see and tour in Puebla. The decor of the hotel was pretty interesting. Definitely an A for effort. We did listen to the records on our last day while packing up. This was nice. We really appreciated the water refilling stations all over the hotel. It's so nice to not get new plastic bottles every single day. That would.be a waste. Good for the hotel to be more eco friendly. Even with the negatives below, we'd recommend this hotel for a 2 or 3 night stay. Staff was very nice about all our requests. We had to use Google Translate app to change English to Spanish but they were good to read Spanish and respond via Google translate.

The staff is fairly unfriendly. Breakfast not included in room price. It's hit and miss when the breakfast room will be open in the morning. Maybe if there aren't enough guests, it doesn't open. It takes 2 remotes to operate the TV...and a complicated strategy for finding channels and for changing them.

Excellent location...a block away from the Zocalo...center of the city. I stayed in the Brahms Room...hotel is musically themed. The renovated building was built in the 1500s and was the residence of a friend of Herman Cortes. Rooms are very large...good AC....hotel is very clean. Located on a very busy street which becomes quiet in early evening. There is an elevator for reaching upper floors.

Our room was on the street and was a little noisy at night. We paid for a "suite", but I don't think we received one. If we did, the suite was very small for the price.

The hotel is in a prime location, just around the corner from the Zocalo. It is close to restaurants and most of the landmarks the City has to offer.
