How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

on the last day I left my luggage at the front office to pick it up later to go to the airport. I had to wait about 40 minutes for someone to arrive at the front office to give me access to my luggage.
very comfortable and clean room although small, it did not feel like it and the room is very well organized the location is perfect for those arriving from the airport by train

The rooms were a little stuffy. We happened to be there during a very hot day, though.
The location of this hotel was really good - excellent access to the train station and the bus station. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice and helpful staff. Arrived early in the morning before check in. We were able to get the room then as it was available. Very good location, easy to reach everything we needed.

The room was pretty dark. Do you think you can use brighter bulbs?
The staff was great. Special thanks to Ishan who provided tons of useful information about the attractions, restaurants, etc., provided hot water for tea any time of the day and made sure I could check out late on Sunday according to the hotel policies. Thank you, Ishan!

Wet room floor shower, but it did have a glass door which caught most of the water. Window view was 2/3 brick wall. No air conditioning, although there was a thermostat you could set to blow in cold air. No kettle. No fridge. Mattress on bed had a tendency to slip off. Tap water tasted a little soapy.
Heated bathroom floor. Automated check in, but staff nearby if you had a problem. Table & chairs supplied. Various lights, including two on stalks. Helpful staff. Easy wifi login They clean every 3rd or 4th day to be more environmental. Safe in room.

Room could use a bit more lighting and maybe a kettle but that's about it.

Checked in on a Saturday and left on a Tuesday and my room was not cleaned once during the stay meaning the rubbish was topping up in the bathroom, and bed unmade, no fresh towels during stay.
Staff were helpful and friendly, great location, ramp to front entry for prams, wheelchair and others with access needs. Breakfast bags, bar, good wifi reception.

breakfast is only available at small store at reception, such as baguette . not buffet in normal hotels. so breakfast is not offered and you have to buy it.
comparing with the hotel price per night, the hotel quality is good. i thought it's just normal 2-3 stars hotel, but it's not. very clean and modern room. digital fast check-in with smartphone or booking code is available.

The hallways smelled a bit and shower in my room seemed to have a possible design flaw. The floors of the restroom was always a bit wet and damp cause water seeps out from shower area.

Great rooms but no AC. Normally not an issue in Norway but it was 75° F and the rooms were hotter. Luckily I was able to get a fan but had to move it around. Shared balcony with other units lead to trash on my side. Heat lead to having to send out for ice too.
Great rooms. Had a larger room for wheelchair access but no ramp to balcony.

Self check in was very simple. The room was compact but well designed. Comfy bed and good shower. Close to station so perfect for an overnight stay. Good to have a bar for a nightcap and the ability to buy snacks for the train.
