The only problem I found was that the little fridge was noisy, gosh it was very noisy! I was glad to have earplugs because of that one problem. When I arrived I didn't see any way of controlling the room temperature - there was no obvious heat pump, air con or radiator appliances. However it was perfectly fine (the month of March in NZ) even though the weather outside was unseasonably cold. I assume it's probably heated by geothermal but if you got too cold or too hot I'm not sure what you would do! I didn't have time to ask the staff about it as I was arriving in late evenings and out early mornings.

Very easy car access to the ground floor apartment. Very spacious room with high ceiling so it feels even larger. The bathroom / toilet area is another pretty large room. The daily room cleaning was very good I especially noticed the cleaning of the kitchenette was great. The driving access to/from all directions is very good they have 3 driveways. Even my room facing the main road Fenton Street was not noticeably noisy (traffic).

The curtains in the room were quite dusty and the one in the bathroom had better days.

Hotplate was old and took a long time to heat up. An induction cooking plate would have been better. The kitchen floor was very sticky when we arrived - I let them know the next morning and they mopped it with some hot water which improved it.

High ceilinged, spacious room with a queen and single bed - suited us as 2 adults travelling together. Kitchenette had a hot plate, microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle plus crockery, a pan and pot.

Right on Fenton we walked to the lake front. Equipped with what motels normally have: utensils, small pot and pan, brush, dishwashing liquid. Mini fridge, microwave and mini stove. We only used the fridge. They would change the towels daily. We had a fan in the room that we used at night. For three people they assigned one of the Large Studio rooms with a king bed and a twin bed.

That you could hear everything. You could hear full on conversations in the hallway. The locks on the bedroom door needs another lock, if it was just me I wouldn't feel safe but I had my husband.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, advised what was available what they had to offer plus more.

The jets on the spa bath needed cleaning. And cooking facilities could be a little better. As it was quite smokey wen in use. Otherwise genuinely good

The rooms were dull. Not much personality.

The quietness and privacy we had. People just minded their own business. Peaceful & relaxing. Also the heated pool at night was so good, just like having a spa. Me and my partner got the pool to ourselves too, was so good.

No plates, knives, forks, or spoons. No toaster or microwave. Ensuite extractor fan not working. Gaps all around the door meant that the hallway lights shone into the room all night; and could not be turned off. Walkway lights outside the room shone in through and under the drapes: drapes too short. (Room 268).

Quiet, good location. Staff were lovely. Warm room with heater on low setting. Clean and tidy.

Our dear hostess found us an extra table for my craft work and a cosy comfy chair for our friend as hers were cold metal. Wood padded chairs recommended, really.
