Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe beds were FAR TO LOW HURT OUR BACK & LEGS to get out of and no comfortable chairs to sit on to watch TV. Plugs were damaged & dangerous.
It was clean & tidy convenient to locations where we wanted to go to . Staff were very pleasant.

New ZealandI was surprised not to be offered any milk on arrival ,although there was some tea & coffee sachets in the room. I found it difficult to sleep there due to the noise of other guests, roadnoise and a lot of exterior lighting shining into room.
Location was easy to find. Facilities advertised were present and functional. Very clean and the cleaning staff were lovely to speak with.

New ZealandWell we experienced a few drug addicts coming in and out doing deals we couldn't sleep as cars were in and out all night doing deals as I say this is because i went in and out off my bedroom and looking every single time and watching and I seen everything I hated it.

New ZealandReceptionist is a liar. Expecting customers to pay $233 to sleep on a bed with no legs
The Double beds in the lounge have no legs. The box base is sitting directly on the carpet and is very low to the ground. Like a futon bed. Very hard to get off the bed. The manager says they are ordering legs for the bed in my unit however 2 other customers in reception said their beds don't have legs either. The Indian receptionist is a liar. I asked if there is any Emergency Accom people here and he said no. They definitely have homeless people staying here. Not a pleasant experience. Reported to Booking.com $233 for the night, Plus $100 bond to sleep on the floor. Rip off
