A road map would have been very helpful

This B & B is in a private home, not all that easy to locate, and there is no personal contact with the owner as all your instructions to enter etc were by text. It was beautifully presented and gave us a comfortable night

At night there was a noise from sort of rat/pest moving in the roof that we can hear its moving sound at the beginning of the night.

No one at the property to assist with any issues. Our TV wasn’t working which didn’t necessitate a call out for attention but would have followed up if someone was available to ask. Limited kitchen ware if staying more than one night

Quiet albeit a little isolated 10 minutes above the main village. Ample space for two people including a private garden to enjoy district views

I hope I’m not being too critical as first impression was very good. It came across as more of a bedsit with an oversized ensuite in relation to the bedroom. There was a tasteful timber cabinet which hosted a microwave, a kettle and the usual assortment of tea and coffee sachets. There was some cutlery and crockery inside the cabinet. Problem was; there was no place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. There were two very nice chairs but hopelessly placed alongside the bed. There was a timber seat and table combo outside, but Tekapo being Tekapo it’s not always practical to sit outside. We had to defrost our car windscreen in the morning!

Very well appointed; tasteful decor and quality fittings throughout. Parking was not a problem for us and access to the property was easy. It’s a hilly walk to the main area of Tekapo but it’s within easy reach by car.

All was good. One minor comment; the picture of the US desert above the bed is very out of place.

The table in the room was a little small for us. It would be better with bigger side table to enjoy the time staying in the room. The restroom was very big, but there was no tub in it. It would be perfect if there was tub.

The room was very clean and equipped with almost everything we need. There is no facilities. All we did was self check-in. It is calm and quiet. Good sound insolation that we didn't hear anything from next door. It also has parking place for us. Overall very good! The location is not near to the lake. It needs driving, but only 2-3 mins away.

The guide in the room said there were free to air TV channels. It wasn't working so I rang the manager who informed me there are no TV channels available. Need to update your information. Nothing worked on the TV which didn't really bother us, but it might other people. You need a degree to work out how to use the shower.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Not close to the lake so we didn't have any views.

Fully automated check in did not see anyone to meet and greet Shower door broken When entering with suitcases a number of trip hazards, door ledges, rugs etc Bathroom sink to be used for cup washing, no washing up liquid in room as found in other rental properties

Walking distance to Lake, uphill on return so bear that in mind when booking Room with French doors outside seating area Comfortable bed , good sized room with dressing room / suitcase storage area

Missing hair conditioner. Slightly thin walls can hear neighbour snore.

Nice clean room, easily accessible to the lake for views, the bathrooms were clean. Our booking app wasn't working to see their messages, and we called the owners and managed to get the key/password to our room. There was no one in attendance.

one thing. at first time i misunderstood room number 4 as house number 4. so I had trouble to open the door with pin number. 2 is tecapo hights. inside it, there are rooms.

everything was good. little bit smaler than i expect. but there was everything i need in that room.

Downlighting above the bed would not turn off, switch was broken which made for a very uncomfortable night. One of the chairs was broken Nothing provided to wash the dishes

The separate bathroom is described in the details, but we didn't realise you have to cross a corridor, and go through 2 locked doors ( the room and the bathroom), to go to the loo in the night! The room does not have A/C, but has a Dyson air machine. It was warm whilst we were there, so the room was stuffy. We didn't feel we could open the doors to the outside because you are overlooked by guests in rooms on either side.

Nice quiet location in the small town of Tekapo.

Soleless - saw nobody!! 4 UHT milk pods in the room everywhere else proper milk !! Tekapo heights and stated partial Mountain View we thought would have some type of view but just a small wooden fence never used outside !! Shower too complicated!! We booked months ago and we expected facilities to be better!!
