A great Hostel just on the out skirts of the centre. Great friendly, and relaxed place. More than happy to recommend this place. Great for the cyclist and the cycle tourist. But also good for that relaxed break.

Jens IS very helpfull. Nice to talk with him and discover what he did as a biker traveller. Very nice Time in Bugoy place. And you Can discover Philippines with bike's tours with him and his staff.

The Owner was very very helpful and provided us with useful information about how to get around CEBU and the Islands around. He also provided us with contact people which made it easy for us to get around. He does a lot of bike tours within the area and around other Islands and thus a very resourceful person. You can also rent a bike there too for flexibility purposes as well as seeing more. Additionally, we received a warm welcome from the lady at the reception and she also allowed us to check in early after a Very long flight and delays.

Location was 7 minutes walk to bus/jeeps area to get to centre or south bus terminal. Lot's of local places to eat cheap price. Hostel was very comfortable and had the use of kitchen with free water tea or coffee. Jens was very helpful and there was lots of information about travelling around the Philippines .

It was very quirky hostel, which I really liked, bikers orientated, but accommodating everyone. Very friendly staff, room was so big and beautiful! We liked it so much we extended our stay!

Had lots of dogs, which is fine, however this meant there was quite a bit of dog poo randomly round the garden on the pathways up to the cabin. Otherwise couldn’t fault it!

Gorgeous little cabin style homestay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom facilities but they were always clean. Laundry facilities available and low price. Kitchen/ cooking facilities available. Free refillable water, tea and coffee. Mosquito net and fan in the cabin.

Great atmosphere , this is a place for the traveller who wants basic accomodation and friendly vibe. As a cycle tourer i received great imformation from Jens the owner....highly recommend.

After an exhausting travel night we where able to check in in the early morning so we could get some sleep. The owner is a very nice guy who gave us some tips and helped us planning our trip. The shared kitchen with fridge, free coffee, tea and water are also really nice.

-The owner was nice but the lady in charge was kind of rude and unhospitable. I felt that she doesn't really like guests and she seemed to be annoyed by me whenever I ask for something. -There were a lot of cigarette butts right at the entrance of the hut plus many other small trash items in the grass. I think they should clean that because it gives a bad impression. No bin in the room. I had a pizza box at my bench and next day I saw it thrown next to the hut on the ground.

They have free water, coffee and tea. In proximity to a small shopping mall. Nice decoration.

Personal and owner were excellent. Breakfast was good and price worthy. Staff was all the time available for you. They order food for you with their mobile which was delivered to you.

An oasis of calm. The hostel has a lovely garden and verandah to hang out in. Jens and his staff are very welcoming. We are cycle tourists and Jens gave us lots of valuable information on where to cycle and general travel guidance. We can even leave our bike boxes here . The perfect place to start a cycling trip. Thanks to everyone at Bugoy Bikers Hostel. We couldn't have stayed at a better hostel.

I was hoping to get more tips about biking in the Philippines and activities around Cebu, maybe it was because the owner was not there at the time. And perhaps some mosquito control would be necessary.

To be 100% honest, the place is in rough shape and needs some deep cleaning, but it has a nice local vibe, the staff was very kind, the room was big and breakfast was good. We also appreciated the free water, instant coffee and tea.
