The front door was a little difficult to open overall.

It was located very central and the rooftop was really great! From the property there was multiple nice shops and supermarkets in very close distance. If you don’t mind waking, you can also easily start your full Old San Juan Sightseeing Day from here. The beach is a short and cheap Uber Ride away. The customer service was really good too. We had an issue regarding the facilities (which can happen) and the owner resolved them immediately. We had a really good time!

I knew the apartment didn’t have an elevator and had stairs We were on the 3rd floor and we climbed 53 steps to get to the apartment. I feel the amount of steps might be stated so that someone that might have difficulty with stairs would know in advance. There was no plan for exit in case of a fire. We did have a door that led to a patio, which would be easy to get out of the building in case of a fire. I think having a plan for an emergency would be good for people renting the apartment.

I liked the location. It was great to access the downtown location. The parking garage across the street was great so we did not have far to carry our bags.

No lifts, only stairs and was a bit difficult to get up them with two large suitcases.

The satellite internet was out almost the entire day 1 which also meant no TV (Roku) and was completely out for day 3 checkout day. The coffee maker is a tiny pod espresso machine & not a Kerig. The kitchen sink was clogged and the garbage disposal was broken. This was reported, acknowledged but nobody came to fix it. If you can’t navigate lots of stairs don’t book third floor or stay here.

Loved the location! The terrace was also a very nice addition. The kitchen is also very well stocked. The bed was comfortable but very thin blanket. Very nice clean bathroom but no counter space & low water pressure.

We couldn’t figure out how to work the garbage disposable so the sink was clogged by the end of the weekend. My kids slept in the living room and ended up with a number of mosquito bites somehow. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The hosts were very good at communicating the instructions to get in. The location was great, right across from the parking garage, in a nice walkable area accessible to everything. Despite how busy the street is, the room very very quiet and we slept so well in the comfy bed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, although I couldn’t figure out the espresso machine 😆 The living room was a bit dark due to limited windows inside, but we didn’t mind because we were there to hang out in the city, and the roof deck was awesome.

I loved the location! It was central to all of the key areas in San Juan. The views and the rooms were extremely cool as well. Going with a group of friends helped us to be able to gather quickly with each other. I would definitely stay here again.

The sheets were so pilled! Also the nespresso maker was broken. Would love to have washcloths in addition to towels in bath, and kitchen towels in addition to paper towels in kitchen. In the middle of the night it sounded like someone was pressure washing the street below. Very loud. Bring earplugs.

Only ding was bedrooms were lofted, which was not clear from the description and there were pictures of a rooftop lounge, but couldn’t locate it.

Nothing, just small things that could be improved: hand soap was missing in the bathroom and a full-body mirror would be great. And as others mentioned: there is a parking garage opposite the building (depending on which apartment you book) and you can continuously hear the beeping. Bring ear plugs if you have a light sleep!

Very clean and spacious, the apartment has a very charming old style (very pretty) and has been clearly renovated - everything is very modern, incl. the bathroom. It is located in the heart of San Juan, easy to walk everywhere. We appreciated the proximity to supermarket, restaurants, even a CVS. The additional sofa chair in the main bedroom is super comfortable! Communication with the owner was good, instructions for keys were clear, and he was very helpful throughout the stay. We would come back immediately!

The master bathroom shower was beautiful but overhead showerheads didn't work and the temperature was difficult to control. Luckily there was another shower that worked fine.
