How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bathroom with shower was good, however only one for everyone.
Very good location, good connections. Quite area. Room was clean and everything in order. Luggage storage was good.

Couple small things missing, like cutting boards in the kitchen and a coffee maker to match the coffee. My inner environmentalist would love if there was some recycling.
Has all the amenities as promised, well organised and super-clean. It’s a virtual check-in so I didn’t meet anyone in person, but the team was very responsive and helpful via booking messages. I was here on the way through so didn’t explore too much of the area, but it seems very well connected by metro.

Property is located in a nice Lisbon neighborhood, 3mins walking from Alameda metro – plenty of café/restaurant options nearby. Shared kitchen is fully equipped. Rooms small but good; bathroom facilities clean and modern.

The private bathroom was really small, but it was posible to use the shared bathroom was big.
Smaller room, bu it was enought for the sleeping. The metro station was 300m, 400m to the supermarket, calm part of the city.

Some instructions on how to use the blinds in the room!! There was only one bathroom, not sure how many rooms shared this, but I didn't have to wait very often.
Good sized room, nice decor and view over the street. Good location in a nice part of Lisbon, short walk to metro. Big bathroom, and kitchen to use too with free tea and coffee.

When someone turn on the tap or flash toilet, the water pump would produce loud noise even at midnight. I woke up every night during my stay. It is the sole defect of staying there.
The room is nice and private. Close to shopping area and restaurants.

It was VERRRRRRYYY cold, and we tried, but couldn’t turn on the heater. The blankets were also too thin, all 3 of us were freezing through the entire night.
I liked that is was close to the metro lines, and it was clean

Noisy when other people were in the hallway, I found the mattresses a bit hard...
The location was super, close to metro and restaurants....it was clean and communication was very good via Booking messenger.

There should be at least free shower gel / shampoo. Towels are really old , could have done with a newish towel.
Quite and in a very nice area in Lisbon. Shared bathroom but the bathroom is always clean. Just 5 mins walk to Alameda Metro Station. We cook our food and a shared kitchen that is usable is very advantageous. Beds are not too bad. Very efficient check-,in. Owner has given us the door codes and instructions well in advance.

Single room was separate to the main apartment of five rooms, so you had to go out of my room across the block's stairwell to get to the kitchen and lounge, entering a door code each time. It was not quiet, (my request) as the room opened out onto the elevator and stairs where every sound of people coming and going was heard at all times of the night, as well as during the day, echoing all around the building.
Room was clean and tidy, with good view of street and opening windows. Ensuite bathroom compact but efficient, with lots of hot water in shower. Facilities of the kitchen were brilliant and lounge available most days for relaxing.

No shampoo, just a small soap bar. I could feel the bed springs pressi g against my body.
3 minutes walk from Alameda subway (Metro) station deserved by direct lines to airport and to downtown (Chiado). I had a room with single bed. Bed had stiff mattress and OK pillow. Small but functional bathroom. Good elevator. Efficient check-in as price had been already charged by Booking.com, I got message with entrance codes.

It was not as shown in Booking pictures. Moreover, the toilet was not stable and it did a strange noise.
It was closed to metro station, in a good district with different place to eat. It had a big shower.
