The restaurant menu was limited and old fashioned, we ate out in the end. The indoor pool wasn't heated, this was surprising as we expected it would be at this time of year. The team laying out breakfast service in the bar at around 9.30pm at night didn't seem bothered that there were guests around, they were very disruptive. The fruit salad platter for breakfast in the morning was already out at 9.30pm in the evening. Our balcony didn't lock, the catch was broken.

The room was large, checkin was easy and the reception team did their best to support our early checkout the following day with helpful suggestions.

The bed was just not comfortable, I’m afraid. For a 4* hotel I would expect better. The room doors are super loud to close, I was woken up a couple of early mornings by other guests leaving their room.

Spacious room, amazing swimming pools (outdoor and indoor), quiet surroundings. The breakfast is great with a wide variety of food and drinks.

Pillow are not comfortable. But the worst is that not bathrobes are provided to access the pool unless you're in a suite. The access to indoor pool is made crossing the dining room. The option offered is to change in the lockerroom, which makes no sense since we're staying at the hotel.

There are no irons in the rooms, but they did lend us one. However, we had to request it at least 6 times and wait more than 1 hour to get it. Also, only had 30 minutes to use it. Very inconvenient. The room service menu is very limited.

The sofa seat was badly stained and dirty. The bathroom had a persistent bad smell since we arrived. There's no kettle in the room or coffee making facilities if you want a very early coffee.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a good variety of food and hot drinks. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely view of the garden. The pool is pleasant.

The room was big enough for 3, height was also very good. Once we arrived at our room, the bed for our child was ready, so everything was well organized. The hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood,the only noise we had was the birds. Breakfast was very good.

The Spa was out of order, but this information wasn't provided during the booking. We only received the information after the payment. This inconvenience should be informed or compensated with a discount. The pool was okay, but requires maintenance.

Nothing of note to point out, it was all as good as we were hoping it would be!

Overall, the accommodation was extraordinarily pleasant in almost every way. The room was large and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was very diverse and delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived by car, and there was ample space to park for free, not just in their own parking, but on the street nearby as well. It was also a very small drive away from Sintra, the main city we were exploring.

Poor and unclean SPA. Untold rules about towels at reception. You through all the building to SPA, and then return back for towels. Sauna and pool are cold :)

Hairdryer wasn't working, air conditioning stuggled a bit - after an hour 26 degrees (inside) was just 23, some mould on grout in bathroom, quite far from train station.

Huge room, very quiet, big desk to work on, hot water fast, very decent breakfast, quiet location, generous electricity sockets, helpful and friendly staff

Buffet was not that good and I paid about 100 usd for 2 people. Drinks like milk soda coffee etc were extra... The rooms were clean but worn and bed was comfortable but had a plastic under the sheet that was loud and made you sweat. Overall good hotel... but have alternate food plans

The room was split level. The bedroom was on the top level but the bathroom was on the ground level. There was a large storage room also on the top level which I couldn't decide what it was used for as we certainly weren't going to lug our suitcases or even golf clubs up those stairs.
