The bathrooms were not clean, perhaps they clean them after people have to check out but by the time we were allowed to check in they were not clean and remained that way until we had to check out. They would also benefit from having a couple toasters for breakfast. It's a popular hostel and there was one waffle maker that people were using to toast their bread.

Hot showers definitely.

Everything was just fine. According to the price it was very good quality. Those who expect a five star hotel, it's not your place. For the ones who only want a bed to sleep and a shower, it's more than fine. A little bad thing was that when I was there, the water of showers, no matter what you use cold or hot, were hot, too hot I would say. I think it was a failure or something.

There is no A/C but there is fan blower that didn’t cool the room enough. Unfortunately it was very hot at night.I couldn't sleep. But other that this , the stay was great.

The rooms could have a little more space and the chance to have a key/card for putting away your things and some shelves or a small bedside table to be able to leave your things near the bed. The shared toilets and showers are spacious but they need better cleaning and the showers could also have something similar to a shelf for leaving your things that you can't hang up and don't want to leave on the floor.

I enjoyed the swimming pool in the mornings and the variety of food available for breakfast. The staff was nice and the place has a lot to offer even though there are many things that could be improved to make the stay a lot more pleasant.

Very small shower in the double rooms and quite dark in the rooms. We took 2 rooms, one for parents and one for kids. The kids room had a non functional AC

Some of the other guests treated the hostel like it was their own home and not as a place to be shared with others, so parents allowed their kids to run wild, misbehave and go about their lives without supervision. Other guests didn't clean up after themselves, so the bathroom and the kitchen were no man's land.

Facilities were clean, bright, well-equipped. Staff was polite.

The rooms were very hot. There is a large quantity of guests and the bathrooms need to be cleaned more frequently to make up for this.

Breakfast was great - there was cereal, yoghurt, bread, cheese and ham We came for a festival and it was perfect for this. Great to hang by the pool during the day and meeting new people. Price was also reasonable.

It doesn’t have a classic hostel vibe, because it’s very big. But for a short stay, totally fine. The kitchen isn’t that clean and it’s a 20-25min walk to the city center

The dorm was okay. Beds were good and everything in the room was clean. The house is very big and it has a big living room. Breakfast was okay too :)

just the layout was very cold .. when you walk in it’s not very appealing but it was very clean . It was €10 in a taxi to Praia de Roche

the staff were fabulous, very accommodating and trustworthy. They also booked me a taxi when I needed one . it was a 5 minute walk from the shopping centre

Cleanliness. Outdoor grounds quite dirty. Cigarette ends everywhere and around the pool. A simple daily sweep of the paths and grounds and around the pool would make such a difference. Mould on the room walls. Room clean on the surface, but lots of dust under beds and in room corners. Shower bracket for shower head missing.

long waiting lines for breakfast, coffee did not taste well, quality of the food quite low, our familly room was located in a "boys-part" and my wife and daughter had to walk to a different section to the restrooms and showers. There were showers reserved for individual rooms but there was no shower for our room.

The room was tiny, but with huge wardrobe. AC was working properly. A huge surprise was outdoor swimming pool. But the shower in the room wasnt good, the water runs only few seconds with high pressure and no shower hand so it was a disappointment.

Room got quite hot, even with the fan on and curtains drawn.

The staff was friendly, the bed and pillow sturdy, and the facilities adequate. I like the room access was via key. Breakfast was basic but nice addition.
