Great little hotel in a very good location. We went to Carnival and it’s a short walk to the Sambodrom. Fairly short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants as well.

Time to refresh some paintwork in the rooms and maybe update some furniture. Nothing dirty or broken though and all linen fresh and clean.

Excellent location just on the riverfront with easy access to the beach area. Several blocks from the bus station but easy to walk without big bags. The room we had was adequate, probably in need of a makeover, but clean and comfortable. The public areas of the hotel are excellent, particularly the pool and restaurant. We had some special diet requests that the restaurant handled very well. In fact we ate there both the nights we stayed as it is probably the best restaurant in the area. People were coming in from outside the hotel. Breakfast was good too.

Fantastic location just 2 blocks up from Ave Costanera. The room was spacious. There is a lovely outdoor pool area. We had a good evening meal in their restaurant. The staff at the restaurant and front desk where helpful as we struggled with our Spanish. Perfect location in Encarnacion.

It would have been nice to have a table with a chair in the room but that's a personal thing because I always need to work a bit.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet was simply awesome. I also liked that the hotel has a restaurant with very good food and reasonable prices and a mini market if you quickly need some water or a snack. All in all, it was a great experience. Muchas gracias.

Serious problems with water pressure in bathrooms. Bedrooms giving on to front of the hotel are very noisy. We managed to change rooms to a very quiet a pleasant room but continued to have water pressure problems

This little hotel is fantastic. The staff are great. It is clean and close to the waterfront and the breakfast was top notch.

The room was below expectations and very used up. The door had a simple lock with an old key. For a 4-star stay in this pricerange and a booked suit this is not what I was expecting. 30years ago this might have been a nice hotel but has not seen much investment ever since. The breakfast was the final nail in the coffin. No eggs nor sausages. One type of (cheap) cheese and one type of ham (lowest quality). Even the milk was sour (!). No wonder they did charge the room when we arrived; I guess they have had experience with unhappy clients in the past. Food and room-bar was paid at check-out.

I had mixed experience with the staff. At arrival, the reception staff didn't seem very prepared. They were very nice and kind, but besides doing check-in (confirming reservation, payment and giving us the room key) they didn't give us any vital information like: breakfast time/location, check-out time, how to call the front desk, staff hours, room service/cleaning, etc. They work with staff on rotation shifts, and most staff was very well prepared and super professional (greeting, making sure we were comfortable, asking about helping with plans, etc), while one seemed to be distracted by texting? not using a face mask properly and uninterested in greeting us/seeing whether we had our key or needed anything. Because the hotel shared the garden with the restaurant, music can be a little loud at night.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff serving the breakfast was also very attentive and professional. The hotel/restaurant garden with the pool is beautifully kept, and really nice to spend time and enjoy breakfast outside. The room was very clean, and the bed super comfortable. Very nice location, close to restaurants, bars, and the beach. All within walking distance. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend

The atmosphere was great. Nice music, pool. Nice place and wasn’t crowded.
