Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GreeceWe have booked a room without breakfast but it was quite expensive to buy breakfast even when we have been there. Approximately 19€ per person after discount. Also we were provided a non smoking room, on a non smoking floor (as we have been said) but the room really smelled like it was a smoking room.
The location was perfect. Very close to the City mall and metro station (although we did not use it). Complimentary bottles of water and coffee in the room was very helpful. Reception staff was great!

United KingdomThis hotel was 10/10! The staff was so professional and accommodating. From the front check in desk, to the door men/security outside. They listened to our request for a high floor and a surprise small cake for my sister to congratulate her! The room was so spacious just for 2 people. Bathroom was immaculate and the tub was amazing. The location is the best part as west bay is popular and has so many cafes, malls, Resturant nearby, Souq Waqif. Everything is within 15 mins away. I really enjoyed my stay here it exceeded my expectations. I will be coming back here again for sure!

We booked room for 2 adults and 6&8 yo but room only had sofa for one chiled (no sofa bed) and additional bed was chargable. Any other hotel we've stayed in would have provided a complimentary bed. Here, despite multiple discussions with the front desk, staff and supervisor it was not the case
