“We were very happy with our stay at the Nong Khiaw Float House. It was a very special experience to sleep so close to nature. The staff was extremely friendly and organized everything we needed. They even sent a package to Vientiane for us with things of ours that we would have had to throw away due to the strict security checks of the LaoChinaRailway. It all worked out really well. Thank you very much for that and for the lovely stay.”
“AMAZING !!! The best hotel we have been to in Laos! Great location by the river overlooking the mountains. For those who like peace and quiet. Beautiful area around.
Everything is available within walking distance.
The hotel offers a very tasty breakfast.
Very pleasant staff, very helpful, answer all your questions.
If it were possible, we would double the points for the hotel rating !!!
We had a wonderful stay there !”
“The staff are so lovely and helpful! They were always smiling and they helped me book a bus back to Luang Prabang. They make a campfire every night which is really nice. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets for the campsite but I never needed to queue for either of them. It's in a beautiful location, a 10 minute walk to the start of the trail for the Nong Khiaw Viewpoint and to Pha thok caves. It's a 20 minute walk to the town center but there's plenty of places to get food along the way.”
“This is an amazing place, we have stayed in many hotels but this is the best in Laos, I have stayed in more expensive hotels but this experience was amazing,The price may be higher than accommodation in the city, but compared to the experience I get, I think it's worth it,I talked to the owner of the accommodation and he gave details that the accommodation was designed by an architect and is the only one in Laos,Construction costs are three times more expensive than building on land. It is not surprising that the prices are higher than elsewhere,I highly recommend it, just a little more expensive than staying in the city but you will get an amazing experience.”
“Nice and cozy rooms with view over the Nam Ou river for a very low price. We stayed here twice for 2 nights and loved it. During rainy season the electricity can go out during thunderstorms, but that is the case in the whole city. Just bring a head lamp ;). Oh, and the staff and breakfast are the best 👌 Kop Chai Lai Lai! 😊🙏”
