Deposit is annoying because they do not block the amount of 5000 Baht they charge it and refund it, which cause currency and exchange fees :-(

If I had to find a negative it would be location. It’s about 10 minutes walk to town/beach including a busy road with no pavement. It’s not a big deal, but thought I would mention. The hotel area is very quiet….away from the busy road

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Bangrak beach but 45 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village where most of the best restaurants and night markets are. The main road is extremely busy with little to no shoulder to the road making it very challenging to walk anywhere so we rode the songthaews (red trucks) to get to Fisherman’s Village. The food at the hotel restaurant was considerably more expensive than most restaurants along the beach so instead of spending more time at the hotel pool, we spent most days at a nearby beach club that had a great pool and delicious food at more reasonable prices and had beach access. Only when we were checking out did we see a sign in the office indicating that they offer credits when you spend a certain amount at the restaurant…..no one told us about this when we checked in. Would have been nice to know….

Stayed here for 9 nights in February 2024 and we enjoyed our stay here. We had a room on the first floor and enjoyed the convenient access to the pool. The rooms are spacious with excellent showers, air conditioning, a sofa and microwave. Lots of poolside loungers with choice of full day shade or sun. The hotel was full but we couldn’t hear any sounds from the surrounding rooms. Zero street noise as the hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the busier streets and from Bangrak Beach. There’s a decent gym which we used most mornings but it tends to get very hot by 10:30am as it has a glass ceiling and is all windows. We didn’t opt for the breakfast option but from what we saw it was extensive with lots of options.

That people would put out their towels by the pool lounges to save them, making us miss out. Nothing to do with Lanna property or staff though.

The pool was a highlight, especially having a garden view room which opened up to walk to the pool. Great choices on the menu- I had the chicken salad every night, the staff are helpful with any requests eg: booking a taxi, tours and anything required for the room. Loved the pool cushions that you can float on in the water! A bonus was the daily complimentary yoga. Good to invest in transport to get around, or you can walk 10-15 minutes to reach a chemist, 7-11, liquor store and other cafes.

If I had to be really picky, I would say our room could do with a little touch of paint to get rid of a few small scuff marks but that is it!

From the minute we got in our taxi from the airport we were made so welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms, the grounds and the pool have been thought about carefully to cater for your every need. The staff were incredible with us and our young children to the point we felt comfortable letting our 11 month have cuddles with the staff while we ate breakfast. Every member of staff was great, so respectful and professional. They worked tirelessly in the background to ensure the hotel was clean, the grounds were kept tidy and even the greenery was kept perfect. This was all done without you really noticing. All in all a wonderful stay, highly recommend as a solo traveller, couple or family. We will certainly be revisiting.

Not a complaint, more info. The hotel location is out of reach of everything, you need to rent either a car or a scooter. Nevertheless, it is within walking distance to nearby restaurants, 7eleven shop. Fisherman's village is about 30-40 minutes walk away. The room is obviously not new, but clean, daily cleaning.

The staff and owner/manager are very kind, always helpful. The breakfast is really great, the pool's area is just amazing. The bed/pillows are very comfy. The hotel's neighbourhood is very quiet.

Tiny issue was slightly difficult to get right temperature in the shower, but was never too cold!

Delicious breakfast every day! Restaurant menu was diverse and all food we tried was fantastic. Gym has a nice view. Amazing free daily yoga. Staff were faultless. Cleanest rooms and daily housekeeping.

You need a car or motorbike if you don't want to be isolated as the hotel is not very well located.

The hotel is beautiful, modern, confy and super quiet. The swimming pool is fantastic and the breakfast is superb. The staff was nice and helpful.

- clean, modern hotel - excellent attentive and helpful staff - we booked a tour and paid through Lanna reception (Mr TU Samui tour to Ang Thong National Park by speedboat) - the room had excellent reception for Wi-Fi - we enjoyed the pool - the smart tv was really cool and had apps like Netflix and YouTube etc - close to Bangrak beach and Samui airport; and in the middle of Chaweng and fisherman’s village
