A brilliant, helpful owner who sent great recommendations of things to do and fantastic places to eat. I could have stayed much longer with all the ideas. Good location near one of the beautiful temples…quieter & hidden away. There’s a great mini kitchen in the reception as well as a fridge & kettle in your room Lovely building with traditional floors.

The bed is abit hard for me (but it's personal), and the lighting in room is sightly dim.

It located at the centre of old town, can find really good food around the building. It located in the alley, so it's quiet and you can't really hear anything from the Sunday night market down the street. The owner, May, is a friendly lady and really helpful in giving advice for your itinerary.

The staff is amazing here! Such a sweet couple that wants to take care of you. They give great recommendations and give good tips. They are located in an excellent spot with a walking street on Saturdays. Would recommend this location any day to travelers going to Chiangmai for a great experience

Nothing . Everything was excellent

This was possibly the best apartment/hotel me and my partner have ever stayed in . From start to finish the owner in reception really helped preplanning our route and future taxis there and then for next to nothing price wise . Communication was excellent . Very good ac , location , staff and general facilities . They even allowed us to leave our bags their for two days while we visited pai. Any bad review of this location is completely not true .

The property asked us to remove shoes before entering which was fine and typical for a lot of Thai places. Just be careful on the stairs if wearing just socks as can be a bit slippy!

Pak Ping is in a great location in Chiang Mai’s old town. The staff were helpful and attentive and got in touch with us before we even arrived to check in and sort an airport transfer (150 baht each way). The staff gave us loads of recommendations for things to do and local places to visit for food and drink. They also helped us book taxis. We got our laundry done too which was quick and reasonable. We had a great time in Chiang Mai.

Great location, the famous Sunday Night Market starts just in the next street and there and tons of gorgeous temples nearby. More on the plus side - its close to the main streets but located in the backstreet alley so no noise actually reaches the housing!

The property is in a great location! Surrounded by many shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The host was absolutely amazing and the room was really clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller I felt very safe.

The location was fantastic in the middle of Old City, it’s very clean and tucked out of the way of the Main Street. If you’re going to be staying over a weekend the Sunday night market will be right on your doorstep. You’ll be set back enough from the street that there was zero noise in the evening if you want to head back early. Our host was so helpful and provided so much information before arriving and during our stay via WhatsApp and happy to arrange laundry too for a small fee. Well worth staying and close enough to the main temples in the city.

Clean and spacious rooms in the heart of Chiang Mai old city. The owner, May, was extremely welcoming and helpful in providing suggestions for daily activities. The rooms were well appointed and quiet due to location off the main streets. The hotel itself is close to major attractions in the old city, and conveniently located near good restaurants and stores.

It is situated behind restaurants. The alleyway to get to the accommodation is filled with trash bags from the restaurants at night, attracting rodents. Not the accommodation's fault, but something to be aware of.

The location is very convenient, close to everything you may need access to. There's Boots and a 7/11 right across the street, cafes and restaurants 2 minutes away, and a Thai massage place less than 5 minutes away. May (the host) is very friendly and welcoming. She helped us arrange tours at great prices, helped us get a local SIM card at the best price possible, and gave us restaurant recommendations. Nothing was ever too much for her!

Everything was great from the room to the facilities to the location. Rooms where also quiet, spacious and very clean. May was an exceptional host, I have never stayed with someone who's as helpful as her. Top experience so will book again when next time I Chiang Mai.

The hotel is very central to a lot of temples. Everything you can reach by walking around. I have to point out the amazing service the owner May offers. She helps with organizing transfers, tours and looks up for all kind of information is needed. I very recommended the hotel.

The owner is so nice , she recommended us things to do , basically she help you out with everything. She offers you tours with discounts because if you get it outside , they will charge some commission and she doesn’t get any and gave us way better price , we saved a lot of money . Be amare that if you pay with credit card the lady will ask you 3,5% . One piece of advice for the light8ng system in the bathroom. If you are tall , since the light is placed behind you and not in front of you. Problem when you shave your beard = you can't see clearly

May was an amazing host! She provided alot of useful tips on where to eat and go. The room was cozy (as the name suggests) and everything was adequate during my stay. Location was convenient to eating places and temples in the old town. Either way, cabbing around chiang mai is very affordable.
