I stayed in double room, not the bungalows however as from such a nice resort I would’ve expected more from the rooms as well. The room felt outdated and was dark, with no proper window at all. The door however had a glass window which was really weird and it was covered HALF by a white curtain - you needed to hang more cover (like a towel) yourself if you didnt want people to see to your room. Because of the glass door the room was also extremely light during the night as they had strong lights on at the hallway. So if you stay in the bungalows it’s most probably a totally different experience but I would not recommend the rooms with that price. You can have way better.

The location at Salad Beach itself really nice, the beach is absolutely beautiful! The pool was very nice and the room included water and cleaning every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful :)

The room we stayed in was up a flight of extremely steep stairs that were a bit scary.

Truly beautiful location right on the beach. The loungers had an excellent view perfect for sunset. The restaurant had a wide selection of food. The pool was also amazing and very clean.

The lighting in the bathroom could be a bit brighter as it's hard to "shave" with low level lighting.

I was pleasantly surprised by just how lovely the Salad Beach Resort was. The location was PERFECT!!! Awesome sandy beach but fantastic snorkeling as well if you swam out a bit. The pool was incredible and so refreshing. Great lounge chairs at both the "beach side" and the poolside. Amazing restaurant with great options for sunset meals on the beach as well. Lots of mini-marts and convenience stores nearby plus a 7-11 not to far away as well if you have a motorcycle. But my room was wonderful and a good size with a lovely balcony too. Super comfortable large king sized bed. Mini-fridge was very appreciated as well.

flimsy front door, air conditioner blows directly on the bed, patter of feet on the top floor, no mosquito nets on the window, the room above the water had a lot of mosquitoes, if you ventilate, The bathroom mirror is not very clean.

The rooms wasn't cleaned properly, they didn't have enough clean towels for customers, once I even had towel with makeup on it. We do backpacking and have stayed in several different accommodations, so we are not very precise about cleanliness, but with this price I expected more.

The food in the restaurant was ok. We only stayed one night but all bars closed at 10 pm and there is no shop in the area open at night. There is a small convenience store open daytime on the beach but it's expensive so make sure you stock up on everything prior

Dirty and smelly room, interior is a shabby, mattresses are very saggy, bed linen is smelly. room service didn’t come at all or didn’t clean properly. Door didn’t close easily - actually everything was old and smelly. This place desperately needs a refurbishment. Also lots of screaming kids and toddlers. I wouldn’t recommend it for this price.

The location is wonderful- directly at Salad Beach . The ladies doing the massages at the resort are superb. Reception staff were friendly but not too service oriented.

Overall, it's not very well kept, and the pictures look better than reality: The outside: lots of tripping potential by stuff lying around like sprinkler hoses, broken off stairs, etc. At night (after 7 pm), it's not well lit. The wood paths are not lit like in the pictures (neither is the pool). The sunbeds are not on wooden floor like in the pictures. Just on concrete and sand. The shower: old, stained, and ripped shower courtain, same with towls, trays in the shower broken off. The room: only 1 nightstand, no lights by the bed (not too bad but the pictures suggested them). 3 out of 4 light switches were between the matress and the wall. Most of these are minor inconveniences but I feel like all together they made a difference, and we were a bit disappointed.

The location at the beach was great. It's calm. The food at the restaurant was great. The pool is clean, lots of plants and trees, big room, a balcony from where you could see the ocean. Helpful staff, scooter rental, you can book some tours and rides at the hotel. Room keeping cleaned every day.

Room front door had a little gap under which a big bug came into the room and I had to chase it around the room. Fixed it with covering the gap with some floor towels. Also airconditioning was not the best.

Really beautiful, cheap to get breakfast. Right at the beach. Pool is nice and clean. Room and balcony very nice. Staff organised my taxi to the fullmoon party and to the pier. Motorbike rental is right in front and also a small store is also almost next to the hotel.

They only have 2 indoors towels for us, no face/hands towels :( we did not use the restaurant as it has bad reviews, so cannot comment. The highest bed I have ever slept on. Might be a problem if travelling with little children as they can fall, we had to use suitcase as a barrier.

Salad beach is a magical place! We loved the beach, vibe. Highly recommend destination. Clear water, dreamy views, lovely su sets. Laundry at good price. A/c worked fine. Rooms are a bit tired, but was not a big issue. Some great Thai restaurants around, like Pure Pure Kitchen, must visit. Also lots of decent restaurants at the beach in the evening.

we had a shocking room with no window that and the aircon made us sick. we ended up having to open the door for airflow a lot of the time which was extremely unprivate. but the other people we booked with had decent rooms so maybe it was the last one left? pool also didn’t look like photos.

salad beach is a lovely beach and there are some really great restaurants along the beach. the staff were all really nice and there is a great motorbike rental place next door
