We felt like home away from home! They had what we needed with all essentials, very clean room and fresh smelling bathroom. After each long day, it’s just very inviting and comfortable to settle in! ..And surprisingly, they provide a couple of glass bottled ozonated water daily! Which I think was something special, no PFAs! Ms. Kibb was very hospitable, started with a very personalized pick up service at the airport, made necessary arrangements with our activities during our stay and just pleasant and easy to talk to making suggestions exactly just as we wanted! Can’t ask for a better host!

Nothing really. The wooden floors creak here and there, and that might be troublesome for very light sleepers.

Truly wonderful and friendly staff. The inn is run by extremely thoughtful and polite staff who are happy to do everything possible to make your stay delightful. The location is great for walking all over the old city.

Spacious room with comfy bed. Very convenient location in the heart of the old city. The host family is super kind and helpful. When there was an issue in booking a van to Pai, the host lady helped us out so much. A cute kitty is a big plus!

We had an amazing stay at Thongran's House in Chiang Mai! The location was just perfect, centrally located with lots of fun restaurants, cafes, shopping and markets close by. Kibb and her family were wonderful, helpful, warm and friendly. We loved getting to know the cat and dog as well! And having breakfast each morning on the upper balcony was wonderful. The food was delicious and we loved hearing all the birds and sounds of the town around us while we ate. We were a family of eight adults and every one of us would absolutely return and stay here again! Kibb arranged airport pickup and drop offs for us, as well as a driver for a full-day outing we planned. The rooms were all very comfortable and spacious and clean. Super comfortable beds and great AC! We highly recommend staying here!

Excellent location and waking distance to several night markets and most visited temples. This is a family owned place with just a few rooms, so you feel at home with the privacy of a hotel. the staff is extremely kind and they will provide you anything you need to make your stay memorable. I will stay in this property next time I visit Chiang Mai. Also recommend for couples or families :)

The only thing that would have made our stay better were softer beds.

The host Kibb was wonderful and so accommodating. She made sure we were comfortable and when the AC didn't work properly, she upgraded our room. It was easy to communicate with her as she was available at any time and made great recommendations for food and tours. The breakfast was wonderful and I am so happy we chose to stay here. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Nothing,a perfect stay

The owner was so kind.I was pretty ill when I got here and she really looked after me.This little budget hotel was the perfect place to rest and recover.Its in the heart of the old city but down a quiet little alley so it's really peaceful, no street noise at all.Theres a beautiful terrace and balcony with a beautiful view of the wat.A lot of beautiful plants, flowers and bird feeders.The bed was really comfortable and the water hot.Also they clean every day.You are close to a lot of great Thai and western restaurants.Just a really great place at a bargain price.She even gave me a ride to the airport!

The owner's cat bit me when I accidentaly stepped on her (the cat came to me from the back and I did not see her). The lady working on the reception immediately provided a desinfection which they stored in the big glass bottle and she showed me her own legs covered with several bites!!! The owner told us that it's not necessary to go to the hospital. But we went anyway and they immediately gave me the vaccination against tetanus, rabies (5 shots during a month) and antibiotics. Rabies are common in Thailand and animals can be infected even if they are vaccinated.

Great location in the middle of the historical center within a short walking distance to the most famous temples. There was a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The house itself was situated in a quiet small street. The room was clean and spacious.

very clean and superfriendly host. kibby was incredible nice she even picked us up from the bus terminal in the middle of the night. She was very helpful and gave us all information we needed. I would highly recommend it.
