Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe location right outside the hotel in not exaclty pleasant. I was thinking about booking a transfer from the airport, but the prices the hotel offered were far beyond any reasonable level.
Our room was very good, had a nice “patial Bosphorus” view. The interiors are lovely, breakfast very good. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel car hire prices are too high because only fancy cars available. I think it’s counterproductive. If they were reasonable, it was worth hiring for airport pick ups or day uses rather than the yellow taxis!
The view from the property was fabulous. We were in room 336 and the view of the Bosphorus was gorgeous.

PortugalMade the reservation for a Bosphoros terrace and in the reception i was informed that i made the choice for the partial terrace bosphoros, i showed that on Booking there is not the option of partial terrace bosphoros only bosphoros terrace. They asked me 190€ per night extra for bosphoros terrace. I asked me to show the reservation print out and they refused, i showed my print out and after they said it was a mistake from booking. In this case it was not because the available rooms were very clear. For the price paid I prefer Ciragan or Four seasons were we have bosphoros sea front. Not to repeat.

Best hotel staff I've met in my life so far. They're so helpful, and my family (and kids) enjoyed their stay. They set up our extra and baby beds for free, with balloons. They even placed baby oil and gel in the toilet for the kids use. The breakfast is wonderful and with varieties. The location is next to Besiktas which is lively and full of life day and night. The hotel is secure with gates and they help us get taxis, negotiate prices and helpful in stroller carrying. Special thanks to guest relations team, including Celine and Jansu*!

United KingdomThe washrooms were a little dark and the overall hotel is much smaller than expected. Not many places to lounge indoor and outdoor throughout the day. 1 main tea lounge and a tiny patio that only gets morning sun - great for breakfast! This street of Istanbul is also really full of traffic.
The room was really nice and luxurious. From the bed, to the slippers and robe, and the washrooms. We also had a Bosphorus view which was magical to look out to. The spa and indoor pool were very nice.

Saudi ArabiaBeds and toppers require more attention, as they are curved at the head. Pillows also require some improvement. The chefs who cook eggs for breakfast do not maintain consistent quality, and it varies from day to day. The restaurant Shang Palace requires significant attention. The food is incredibly oily, and some dishes lack genuine taste.
The staff is outstanding, being very attentive to customers' needs and always smiling. The bathroom towels are super clean, and the water pressure is excellent. The breakfast is outstanding, featuring excellent quality cheese.
