“Lovely hosts who were helpful with travel arrangements. Breakfast was good and the surroundings are lovely with the tea plantation. It's also easy to get to Alishan via public bus and back to Taipei.”
“We sleep so well in a comfortable room with tea plantation view and attached bathroom. The stay provides daily homecooked healthy and delicious breakfast, we are offered homegrown pesticide-free tea throughout the day. The tea is fragant and light, we bought some back even tho we are more of a coffee people.
We got rained on after we arrived in Fenqihu on our first day, it was a few hours before check-in time but Tan-jie (sister Tan) got worried and arranged to pick us up from Fenqihu instead of Shizhuo, which we were very grateful for.
It is a cosy homestay, personally run by Tan-jie and her family. We were very lucky to have chosen their place to stay on our first visit to Shizhuo and met their friendly 3-legged rescue, O.K. And their 3 cats!
Beautiful trails are within walking distance from their place too!”
