The poolside room we booked had paper thin walls and was very noisy. I recommend not to book these rooms. Bathrooms / tubs would need an upgrade.

Nice staff, clean, nice renewed lobby and generally area. Pool area and landscape is very nice, too. Good, new laundry.Rooms are ok. We got an upgrade due to very noisy room neighbors. That room was bigger, also the bathroom and had a balcony.

Front desk service was very good. Drinking Water and ice available. There is laundry facility which helps if you are traveling for many days. Spacious rooms. There's swimming pool. Free parking and complimentary bikes and paddle boards. Good location, easy to get acess to main roads.

I have no complaints about the hotel.

Good location, close to downtown, but you can hear lound airplane sometimes which is not a big deal to me. The room is clean, bed is comfortable. I would stay there again.

The room was small and no dresser. Not enough outlets and the one in the bathroom only worked with the light on which also lit the one in the bedroom making it difficult to use at night.

The koi pond was nice and lobby lovely and spacious. The staff allowed me to take a private hula lesson there and everyone loved it. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Although right next to the airport it was quiet after 10:00. My granddaughter loved the pool and it was nice to have a washer and dryer available

Bed too close to the wall. More pillows on beds. Pool could have been heated. Workout room could have bigger selection of weights & a treadmill.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfortable and cozy lobby to read book and drink complimentary coffee. Good location near old Hilo town; large banyan trees line the road, near beautiful Japanese garden park. Also close to airport.

The location is just right next to the airport, beautiful next to the bay and 5 minutes drive to Hilo downtown. The room is clean and the amenities are nice and relaxing.

The beds were noisy.

Our room was clean. Parking easy. Beautiful koi pond and beautiful walk to the park. Food at the restaurants close by was excellent. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the live music.

The room was aged. Bathroom tub facet dripped like crazy. Not enough plug ins for our phones.

The grounds were very nice. The bed very comfy. Air conditioning was wonderful.

No elevator. No porter to help take luggage upstairs. No breakfast. Coffee complementary in lobby but no coffee maker in room. Stairs into pool are treacherous especially for seniors. Very noisy on a busy road.

Great location. Old Hawaii ambience. Recently refurbished. Umbrellas available. Lovely Walks on Banyan Drive and in Queen Liliuokalani Park. Nice ocean vote from front rooms.

Baby cot (crib) was a little small and dated. Shop promised amenities but would be better described as a gift shop. Pool was very cold which made swimming with child quite difficult.

The doors were not super solid, so as we were poolside we did hear quite a bit of noise when people were swimming late. Fortunately, most nights people were done before 10pm so not a major impact for us.

The simplicity of the hotel, the basics like free coffee, tea and water 24/7. We loved hanging out on the lanai and the short walk to the Liliʻuokalani Gardens was great. The staff was always helpful, and we enjoyed the live music and events they offered.

The hotel is located right next to the airport, so you can hear quite clearly the aircraft noise which is - at times - excessive. Thankfully, though, Hilo airport is rather small so there are not so many planes per day. There were some bugs in our bathroom which managed to get in through the broken window. The bathroom was relatively small and I didn't find the mattress or pillows (flat) to be very comfortable (but personal taste).

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There was ample parking. I really appreciated the free water, coffee, tea and other amenities. The rooms were very big and the a/c worked well. I appreciate the social responsibility aspect and approach to providing accommodation!
