The hotel deposits and how long it takes to get back on the card!

Our stay was so nice, we got there late and the kitchen was closed and the guy running the bar mad my family big double burgers and fries just for us.. definitely made me thankful for great staff.. I highly recommend it they are super nice.. I drove from wv and glad i picked the Hyatt house. I just hate the deposits hotels ask for now.

They advertised free cocktails and appetizers from 4-6 pm yet none were offered. When I questioned it I was told there was no bartender. They eventually covered the sign in the elevator with a xeroxed copy of Shrek.

We stayed in a suite. It would have been nice to have an ice machine available. A kitchen sized trash can would also have been nice, as well as more silverware. Had we been staying longer these items would have mattered more.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was very quiet. Bathroom had a vanity with a stool and magnifying make-up mirror! Breakfast was delicious.

Wrong time of year and pool was closed and no indoor pools.

Property was close to Metro station which made it easy to get to Washington. Beds were very comfortable, I don’t normally get a good sleep in hotel but I did in this one.

The water pressure could have been better. The drawer in one of the bedrooms would not stay closed. Please Please upgrade to all Smart TVs.

The cleanliness of the bathroom...more specifically, the shower. However, the manager listened intently to what I had to say and came to see for himself what I was talking about to better be able to relay to his cleaning staff. He also compensated by moving us to a different room that was actually larger than the one we were in.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. And my concerns were met with more than considerate compensation. Also, our room was amazing!

There was a lot of noise from the AC and sometimes we had to turn it off because of the noise. Ganksa crowded place for breakfast and there was little to choose from.

The rooms were large and had almost everything in the kitchen that one needed for a short stay.

Our room smelled terrible. We bought air refreshers and it didn't change. I believe that the carpet needs to be washed. It was not clean, I wore house slippers that were perfectly new when we arrived, and the soles ended up black, although they never went outside the room.

The shuttle service wasn't that great. It states that the service is available from 7 am to 7 pm, but they did not have any one available. They should be asking if guests require the shuttle service upon arrival and get the dates and times the service will be needed. There was some confusion with where to go for drop off and pick up at the metro,which is not good when you have children with you. Clear expectations really should be in place on drop off and pick up. After using the shuttle once, we decided that it would be best to use our own van to get to and from the Metro Station. We had one working remote for 3 TVs. On our last night I went to lift the blanket up over my head, to try to block some light from the tv, and noticed some kind of mold or mildew inside of the blanket. This is why I did not give them a good Cleanliness review, mold and mildew can be dangerous and have a bad effect on people. To get a mold or mildew issue like what I saw, the material would have to be left really wet for a prolonged period of time, but some bleach should take care of that problem, if it doesn't then blankets need to be replaced.

We were here to Visit DC and wanted to stay somewhere out of the DC area but still close enough. We chose this location for the metro. We were only about 3-5 minutes from the metro station parking lot. If you are planning on using the metro, make sure you put in the Herndon Metro Station Parking Lot. The breakfast options were good. The staff was pleasant.

Air conditioning unit was right next to the bed and extremely loud. Even with noise canceling headphones it was still bothersome loud! We had to turn it off during the night to be able to sleep! Which of course made our room very warm…

Reception staff was very friendly. Room was big and clean. Great to have a full sized fridge. Hotel provides extra towels for the pool. Kids loved the pool, it was clean and supervised by a life guard. Breakfast was ok, but could definitely use some upgrades!

Our kitchen didn’t have a toaster. The carpet in the room and throughout the hallway needed a good steam cleaning. The side entrance door works only occasionally with our room key. Bugs in room.

The walk-in shower drain was ineffective in that the basin wasn't tipped toward the drain and you ended up standing in an inch or two of dirty, soapy water, leaving you with feet feeling dirty and unclean. This is a design or installation problem and, as I see it, can only be fixed by ripping out the shower basin and installing a new one correctly.

The room was fairly large, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was very good and convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.

we stayed 5 days and the cleaning service came only once , even when I asked if the could come at least one more day to freshen up the room. carpet felt dirty( sticky) dresser in room wouldn’t stay closed . the biggest issue was the noise of the AC unit extremely loud but you get used to it.

We were told the seasonal pool was open and it was not. It would be nice if they enclosed the pool and allowed it to open earlier, or to stay open all the time.

I loved the space the room provided. You didn't feel like you were staying in a hotel. The breakfast had lots of variety. The staff were mostly pleasant and accomodating.
