Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt is a little bit off the strip from all the buzz, but this is a decision we made to get a better price. The elevators are a little creepy and probably a little outdated. I wish there was a mini-bar in the room to store some drinks, but this is pretty much standard in Vegas.
The room was cleaned every day to my satisfaction, the check-in was pretty quick. In terms of location, the facility offers all expected services in high quality like Gym, pool, bar, Casino, Spa. We had great time in that hotel. Plus, we enjoyed the Starbucks in the lobby without needing to go outside for a coffee.

United StatesDidn't have any face or hand towels for 2 days. There was hair in the shower. Don't provide microwaves or fridges anymore. At least provide a fridge in premium rooms.
Location, beds were comfy, overall clean room

NetherlandsTo check in you must wait in a big cue. The ice machine was just outside the door, this made a lot of noise.
We had a big room, with two queen size beds, had a nice sleep :-P . Nice shower with free soaps. We had a nice view on the strip.

United StatesWe were woken up early in the morning due to a pipe burst that passed through our room. So we had to leave the room before our check-out time. The hotel gave us a complimentary breakfast at the buffet located on the premises.
Even though there was a long line to check in, the staff was quick to get us our room. The hotel had all the necessities we needed. No need to go somewhere else! Parking options were valet or self-park.

IndiaThe glasses were not clean, being inside a glass pyramid shape structure, didn't get good view of the outside. They didn't allocate rooms next to each other. Food and coffee was highly priced, so avoided eating inside Luxor
Huge hotel, large crowd streaming in and out at all hours. Bustling and lively. Got good deal. Recommended if you get good deal. There is a AM/PM store infront of the hotel about 5 minutes walk where you will get all stuff at normal price ( coffee 2 bucks)

United StatesRooms, even the upgraded corner suite seemed old, outdated, and poorly finished. Indifferent, monotone speaking, unwelcoming countenance front staff when checking in to the hotel. Very rude staff at VIP area when trying to get help with key issue. Paper Debis (airline luggage tags) under television furniture. Obviously not thoroughly cleaned. Air conditioners are inadequate for the heat. Television programming limited and picture quality poor. Weird wavy lined channels. Quick food options seem really limited.
Unique and iconic pyramid hotel in Las Vegas. You expect quality. It’s on the Strip!

United StatesThe room was dated, the ceiling had water stains, the bathroom fan was dirty and noisy, the amenities were sparse- no hand or face towels, no coffee machine, microwave, or fridge. However, the fridge means less noise for sleeping.
The Luxor is an attraction with its Pyramid shape and place for entertainment and food. It's quite interesting for the rooms and all of the amenities (shows, food, gambling) to be located all under a pyramid, and it has access to the tram and monorail for traveling around the Vegas strip. The room was amazingly quiet considering just outside of the room is the hallway you can look into the main area of the building. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything in the room worked.

United StatesIt was a little dirty and run down, honestly. Though I’d imagine that’s just a fact of life in Vegas with so many drunken individuals there. So it’s not a knock against the hotel staff.
It’s unique and connects to some other great casinos.
