I couldn't enjoy the adult pool because it was dirty and they couldn't fix it on the day. The first day the sheets arrived they smelled strange, it seems like they had changed them, the bathtub had hair on it, apparently it had not been cleaned properly.

From 4 nights stay we where kicked out 2 nights from the adults pool at 4 or 5 pm because of private events. The private events took a lot of space in the public area. Beach shuttles are supposed to be for hotel guests only, but they are fully occupied by other beach guests, so the hotel guest have to wait in line with all other beach visitors to get a shuttle (two lines would help here)

I did not at all like that the property picks up non-resort guests to transport them to and from the beach. Not only that, but there wasn’t a separate line to ride back from the beach so that line to ride back to the property can get very long. I feel like as a paid resort guest. This is an amenity that, should either be for guests or at the very, very least prioritize resort guest with arm bands before allowing non-resort guest to ride the the resort transportation. In addition, I did not at all like that non-resort guests also have the ability to rent the resort chairs and umbrellas. I don’t so much mind that they’re able to rent them but resort guests should have first dibs on spots and we should be able to do that online before ever arriving at the resort (I do this on 30A and it works great!) so that each day our name is attached to a certain set of chairs in a certain location for the duration of our trip. I did not like that we had to do this daily and sometimes we had to walk very far because all the closer spots were taken in large part by non-resort guests. Also, I feel like the cabanas should be strictly for the back row. They impede the view of anybody else when they are set up in front of people who just have regular chairs and umbrellas. I love that there are so many food choices on property however, I wish that the pool service for food stayed open later. The pool is a huge focus point at this resort (lots and lots of families with small children) and I feel like it would be beneficial to be able to order food poolside for dinner. Same with the woodfired pizza… It closes so early that the only option for dinner centers around the bar. Not exactly super family, friendly or swimsuit friendly.

It was a clean, clean and well kept property. The only reason I didn’t give it. The highest score was because at times it was a lot of food and drink left around the pool deck longer than it should’ve been. I do like that there were adult and family pools and plenty of food and beverage service on the pool deck. Loved the ability for food and beverages at the beach.

Too far to get to the beach, even with waiting in lengthy lines to & from the beach using the air tram. Once at the beach, you’re at the mercy of $14 hot dogs, $24 chicken sandwich & overpriced drinks. Also, this is a much older hotel/rooms.

All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved Ramona at the pool! Also the rooms were quite spacious. We had two double beds and a gulf view. Big balconies with comfortable seating to watch the sunset or read a book.

The team to the beach. Other people that were not guests of hotel used the hotel tram to go and come back to the beach. Morning and afternoon the lines were not pleasant. The beach is a state park beach so no servers to your lounge chair. Because it’s a public beach you have to walk far to get to your set of lounge chairs, it fills up quickly and non hotel guests can rent lounge chairs and cabanas.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. They helped me rent a car, went out of there way to get me aloe for my daughters sunburn. Always had my rental car ready within 3 min of me calling from the room. Room service was 20 min or less.

The bartenders were not overly friendly took me quite a while to get their attention and get service, And there was someone in the bar who kept blowing a whistle that got to be a little out of hand.

Patio doors to balcony were stiff and difficult to operate. Poor service around pool area. Could hear bath being run in adjacent room which is no fun at 6.15.

Beach was nearby (could be walked to) but hotel provided transportation. Free upgrade provided and breakfast unexpectedly included. Ample provision for storage in room and excellent bathroom facilities.
